Would Recommendthe knives were very sharp right out of the box. i personally have not used them and we have only owned them for a couple weeks, but my mother (who i bought them for) is very pleased and comments alot on how sharp they are. these were an upgrade of a very old set of henckel knives which my mom liked so much she almost didnt want to put away but were so worn about 1/4 of the blades were missing from sharpening (like i said ... very old set). we have not owned them long enough to be able to hav...

Would RecommendI hate dull knives with a passion. Decided to try Henckels knives and I am totally in love with my knife set. The knives simply glide through anything I want to cut. I like the fact the block sharpens my knives every time I take one out and return it to the block. I’ve lost strength in my hands and these knives are exactly what I needed. Best knife set I've had!
Would RecommendI used to have basic run of the mill cheap steel knife sets that after a few months to a year would start to rust or even fall apart along with losing the edge on the blades. Once I got this one a few days ago, wow, best knife set that I have ever owned other than spending thousands on a tier 1 professional single knife. I will definitely be recommending this brand and set to all my friends that do a lot of cooking and prep work at home.
