Would RecommendThis is a good fan, but the light only shines down. It does not fill the room with light like other lights that protrude down or out. The light would probably be better if the LED plate wasn't receded in the unit and wasn't flat.

Broken shade
Would Not RecommendI bought 2 of these yesterday and had an electrician to install them. One had a broken shade upon opening the boxes. He went ahead and installed everything but the shade. Lowes would not replace the shade unless I brought them the whole fan. I refuse to pay an installer to remove that fan and replace it with another, better to buy another from someone who will honor their products.

Would RecommendPurchased one of these a couple years ago and wanted to add a second one in the same room. Very easy to install. Provides great air movement. We have two of these now in our exercise room. They seem to be good quality ceiling fans. The lights provide good, bright lighting.

Would RecommendThis is my third purchase of this exact same fan. I have them in my kids’s room. With the exception of a remote, it has everything you would want. It is a hugger fan so it works well within ceilings or if you just want to maximize the clearance. In my opinion, these look the best anyways without the rod hanging.
