Would RecommendThis remote will serve it's simple purpose of turning the light and fan on and off in a location that I could not have a wall switch. I mounted the remote bracket to the wall where I wanted it. One VERY IMPORTANT step if you are installing the fan itself for the first time is to wire the fan up WITHOUT the remote first and put the fan on HIGH and turn the lights ON keep them both on.
