Would RecommendThe poles quality is nice but the span needs to be 4’ or less from pole to pole so that these don’t lean. One of the four poles I ordered was clearly used. I was disappointed that Lowe’s would send me three new and one used. I sent it back but haven’t yet to see a credit for it.

Would RecommendSuper easy to assemble. Perfect height to hold light strings high and not interfere with people walking around. Pick your spot carefully so you can drive it into soil. I stepped on mine but perhaps a rubber mallet might be useful.

Would RecommendIt wouldn't work just sticking in the ground to hold lights. It's just not that stable...... I mounted to 4x4's on my fence line with adel clamps. So far it seems to be doing well.

Would RecommendReviews saying that this pole isn't strong must have the wrong item or an old model. I bought this exact Harbor Breeze pole in a Lowes store in May 2024 and it is very strong metal... no flex at all, with a nice black coated finish. No wobble where the two pieces of pole connect, and definitely zero flex in the metal. It's thick and strong. I'm extremely satisfied.
