What Customers Are Saying

Customers praise these poles for straightforward installation, clean appearance, and reliable performance for lightweight to moderate string light setups. Most highlight sturdiness and durability, with the 9-foot height keeping lights elevated without obstruction. Many report they withstand wind and storms well. However, some note the poles bend or sag under heavier string light tension, particularly bistro or Christmas lights. A few customers reinforce them with additional materials to compensate. Minor assembly issues like missing wing nuts occasionally occur. Overall, reviewers recommend them for typical patio use when not overloaded.

Semi-Sturdy

Would Recommend

These would be so much better if they could be put deeper into the ground. I used them to install an 11'10" x 8' Coolaroo Sun Shade to keep the heat off my front porch where I have Tomatoes and Broccoli growing. I am afraid that they will bend fairly easily with a light breeze.

Works like it should

Would Recommend

There's nothing fancy here, but it's easy to use, has stayed upright through a couple of heavy windstorms, and doesn't clutter your space. I would buy this again.

Make sure you get the thumb screw

Would Not Recommend

Bought two of these. Neither one had the what the manufacturer calls a wing nut, but it's probably a thumb screw. Spent almost an hour on the phone just trying to get the specs of the screw. Started off chatting in the app. The app gave me the number to Harper Breeze, they were clueless/rude.

Bend easily making lights droop

Would Not Recommend

These are very easy to install but within a week or so of installing them, all 3 of the poles bend like crazy causing the lights to droop a lot lower than what we were expecting. I'm going to try and strengthen the poles this weekend by pounding in 4 foot 1/2" rebar into the ground and leaving maybe 18" exposed, then covering that with 3/4" EMT conduit before finally placing the poles over that. Hopefully that will add some stability. If that doesn't work, then I might just opt for some bigge...

They’re alright. Spendy.

I thought this was a 2 pack. They are pretty dang expensive for a pretty simple tool.

Just go with wood

Would Not Recommend

These lean no matter what you do. The only way they do not lean is it the lights hang down to 4’ from the ground. The whole point of them being on poles is to not be on the ground. We tried every possible way and they look cheap and tacky.
