Would RecommendLikes : Added more light to space. Dislikes: Had to buy additional parts My house came with Harbor Breeze ceiling fans with one small light I believe it was called Armitage style. In order to use this kit I needed crimp connectors and longer screws. Not exactly plug and play but not difficult.
Easy to install
Would RecommendThe instructions were very easy to read and just as easy to install. Unscrew fan cap attach the wires thread them through the hole of fan cap twist fan cap to light cap screw fan cap back on attach globes and it even comes with it’s own small Led light bulbs and pull chain extension. It’s really quite beautiful and the lights are very bright.

Switch housing cap
I submitted the questions below, and got a response that did not address my questions. How do I handle the mismatch of housing cap size? Please respond to my questions. Thank you. The kit I purchased came with a 3” switch housing cap, and my original has a 4” cap. I read the review that says it doesn’t matter - but what do I do with the switch housing cap? Is it an important part of the setup? Can I safely leave it off?

Ceiling Fan Light Kit
Would RecommendLiked product fine. One globe in the 4 kits that I purchased was broken. So that is why I only gave 3 stars. I think once items that are glass arrives in store to be stocked on shelves, those items need to be opened and checked for damage. The boxes can be re-taped and put on shelves. JS

Good looking bright light
Would RecommendI had a ceiling fan light with a globe covering the bulbs and it used small sockets. With this I was able to replace the light portion and match my fan. Now the room is much brighter and it uses regular bulbs. Easy install: 30 minutes. You will need a few wire nuts, not included.

Works perfectly on a Craftmade Ceiling Fan
Would RecommendWe wanted to add a light kit to our existing ceiling fan and this light kit worked perfectly. Our existing ceiling fan model is a Craftmade. We removed the center plug from the bottom of the ceiling fan, routed the white and black wires from the light kit through the plug hole, screwed on the light kit, then secured it with the lock washer and nut. Connected the black wire from the light kit to the blue wire of the Craftmade fan. Then the white wire from the light kit to the white wire of the fa...
