It has been over a year and it still works as new
Would RecommendOur original one died after about 3 years of use. Had to replace the entire housing because of 1 faulty pull chain switch. This is a direct OEM replacement part . I hope this one will last longer than 3 years.

Would Not RecommendOnly compatible if you have the original switch housing bottom cap that came with the fan upon purchase. If like me, you bought a house with an existing ceiling fan that needed a new light assembly, then you would have none of the original parts from that fan, which makes this product usless. Especially seeing how Lowes (or anyone else for that matter) sells the necessary switch cover end cap you will need to install this item. Boo...
