Would Not RecommendWould not install on the 10yo Merrimack ceiling fan. I was told that it would by Lowe’s Harbor Breeze customer service. It would work with newer Lowe’s HB units listed on packaging. Wiring to the old fan light kit was never going operate using this as a remote. Returned for full purchase price. End result was buying the new HB Merrimack II fan.

Easy to install. Not dimmable.
Would RecommendI liked the ease of installation. The connector for the power cords was something new. It’s a push-in. Seems loose, but so far so good. I bought this model to replace another one that burned out after 6 years. That product was dimmable. This remote does not dim.

Great option to have a remote control ceiling fan.
Would RecommendGreat affordable option to add remote control to just about any ceiling fan you install. I have installed three of these now and absolutely love them. Easy to install, no real setup at all. Now we don't have to stand up to change fan speed or turn on lights.
