Really like this remote system

It fit the Harbor Breeze fan I purchased perfectly. Wiring was straight forward. The remote buttons make a nice audible click when pressed and the indicator light illuminates. I like the dimming feature for incandescent and dimmable led bulbs. It does not dim CFL bulbs. The remotes range is plenty long. I can work it from about 30' away in the house. This kit is a perfect way to add remote features to an otherwise dumb fan.

Great remote and easy to pair. Because to turn power off when fan is on high and height is on. Once power turned back on within 30 seconds push the learn button on the back of the remote where the battery compartment is. To dim- be sure bulb has dimmable capabilities. Then on the back of the remote in the battery compartment look for the switch next to the learn button. Make sure the button is pushed up to the "D" instead of the "O". I’m sure this was a good product…had it worked. Took me so many hours to convince me that this was bad because it was new. Sure enough I hooked it up without the unit and the fan worked fine. So very sad. Luckily I had an old unit that worked fine until I purchased another. Not sure I would buy this again, although there were many good reviews. I just got a dud. It’s electronics. Toggling wall switch keeps you in the dark

Not recommended. When the wall switch is toggled off then back on, the lights do not come back on at full power so you'll have to find your remote in the dark in order to turn the room lights back on. My older ceiling fan remote did not retain the previous light setting. By default the ceiling fan should turn lights back on at full power when the wall switch is toggled. If there is a setting I'm missing, please let me know so I can update this review.

Two Products: First-new door code pad installed by experienced handyman. Simply didn't work. Second Harbor Breeze fan: Employee assigned to department was pleasant, which cannot be said of most employees, and appeared knowledgable. Therefore, when he said the fan came WITH a remote, I did not double check. After the fan was installed, it was discovered that there was no remote. The box said "remote ready".
