This one is great for the price

For the most part I had really good bags of compost/ manure. However, at least 2 of my bags had lots of sticks and rocks in them. It would be great if Lowe's would allow you to return the ones that had sticks and rocks in them, Because you can see it right away when you open the bags, but I'm not sure if they do.

I tried multiple soil and this one is mostly stick.

I have purchased this a few times now. It is cheap compost and does the job well!

makes a great additive to your gardens and dont smell too bad I mixed this with regular top soil in my garden beds and it really helps

Seed starting soil for excellent germination

I found a seed starting recipe online several years ago that listed as an ingredient either manure or compost. With this product I don't have to choose one or the other. I can have both in my mix and have had excellent results with this product in my seed germination percents.

Garden Gold

I combined their topsoil with their cow manure and mix them into my garden bed. All of my seedlings grew rapidly and remained strong. I use this combination every Spring!!!

This Compost Delivers

Oklahoma clay is not fun! The soil is so compacted it's hard for a plant to get the nutrients it needs. This compost is easy to work with and has made a big difference to the corkscrew willow and bald cypress trees in our yard. The willow quit losing leaves in the summer and the cypress needles did not turn orange last summer until fall.

A lot of larger rocks and sticks

Out of the bag it's probably 25 percent rocks and sticks. Some of the rocks were similar size to tennis balls.

Found a few round rocks in soil, you can definitely smell the manure which is good so you know it’s actually in the soil. Would recommend if you have a large bed to fill.

Works well in raised beds

I use this in all of my raised beds. Works great for all fruits and vegetables

Use this to add to your garden soil

We make out own soil mix to save money by combining things like this and peat moss to regular top soil.

The compost doesn't have "stuff" in it that doesn't belong in compost. That's good!

Good price for the quality

Quality soil inside of the bag. My plants are happy. I purchase 10 bags and one of the bags was opened and taped closed so I think it was partially used which was annoying.

I’m very happy with this compost. The quality is outstanding — it’s dark, rich, and has a fresh earthy smell. The texture is fine and well-screened with no large wood chips or trash mixed in. It spreads easily and blends well into the soil.
