What Customers Are Saying
The tree stand is well-suited for smaller Christmas trees up to 8 feet tall, with customers praising its easy assembly and sturdy construction. However, some reported issues with quality control, such as missing or misaligned hardware, making it difficult to properly secure larger trees. The stand may not adequately support the weight and height of 9-10 foot trees, leading to the trees falling over. Overall, the stand works well for smaller trees but may not be suitable for taller or heavier trees.

Would Not RecommendThis is a bargain basement tree stand. No bells and whistles at all and poor quality plastic. It broke on it's first use. Lowe's was great and accepted the return, no questions asked. The screws used to tighten around the tree are hard to tighten - there's no handle really, just a loop (use a screwdriver or something to help) - and the nuts at the end of them (that come into contact with the tree so you don't just drill holes in it) come right off - they should be welded. Additionally, as I was...
This stand will ruin your christmas
Would Not RecommendWe put our 8' Christmas tree in this stand and it fell over within 24 hours. Yes, the tree was straight and balanced. Luckily, nobody was in the room when the tree came down, shattering 35 years worth of ornaments and spilling water all over the hardwood floor. I never had a mess like this before in my life. Glass and water everywhere in the room. You could see the stress marks on the plastic where the stand failed. I wouldn't recommend this stand for even a small tree.
Tree stand does exactly what it is supposed to do
Would RecommendEasy to use. Works great. I had a 6-foot tree and it was very stable. I am confident that this stand will hold a tree 8-foot or taller with no difficulty.
Best bang for the buck
Would RecommendFor the money this stand has metal tree spikes and 5 screws. Holds the tree in place more securely than an adjustable stand we purchased for 4X the amount just 5 year ago.
Good Tree Stand
Would RecommendThis is a good tree stand and fairly easy to use. I like the flat screws that go on the end of the bolts so the bolts don't screw into the tree.
NOT FOR A 10FT TREE
Would Not RecommendAt the max this stand is for 7ft. We have a 9.5ft tree. It has fallen over twice. the plastic bends easy with the weight of the tree from the screws. Don't waste your money.
Not for a ten foot tree
Would Not RecommendThis stand is advertised for a ten foot tree. Hard to adjust for that big a tree - weight and size of trunk. The base is absolutely not big enough to balance a ten foot tree. I had to buy another stand. I wouldn't, couldn't recommend this stand, at least not for a tree over 6-7 ft MAX!!!!
good sturdy tree stand
Would Recommendeasy assembly and easier adjustment to straighten the trunk made the decorating a breeze this year.
Looks way too big...but turned out perfect!
Would RecommendWhen I picked up this tree stand from the store (ordered online) I was shocked to see the size of it. I did not know it was going to be that big as it was the smaller of the two that I was looking at. This is my first year with a real tree and didn't know what to expect I guess. I thought it was going to stick out like a sore thumb on my 5 foot tree...but to my surprise it looks perfect! I love the 5 screws for the tree, I really feel like the tree is not going anywhere! I looked at different tr...
Best tree stand I've ever used
Would RecommendI always had problems with keeping my tree standing straight, as soon as I purchased this new stand from lowes boom problem solved!!!
Decent Plastic Tree Stand
Would RecommendWasn't looking for anything top-of-the-line..and this is a decent 'value' tree stand, IMO. It is certainly wide enough at the base to support my 8-foot tree. The five crank screws do add an extra layer of stability, however, the nuts at the end of the cranks are a little small, and I found that if I tighten them too much..the nuts actually penetrate the tree bark/trunk. Be sure to have two people with you when putting the tree in. One person to straighten out the tree and hold it steady while ...
Amazing! We have a beautiful (but heavy 10 ft tree this year. My husband had hurt his right shoulder but was able to get the tree in proper alignment. Excellent tree holder especially for the friendly price! We will be glad to use this product again next year!
Good but not great
Would RecommendThe tree stand is nice, and supports my tree very well. The issue is with the design of the support screws. The stand comes with five nuts that goon the end of the support screws. The dilemma comes into play when you need to adjust a support. When you unscrew the support screw, the nuts stays stuck to tree and falls off. Would ahve been a better design if they were attached to the support screw permanently.
Defective Stand
Would Not RecommendStand was defective or damaged. One of bolts is not set properly and will not work correctly at all.
Best Tree Stand
Would RecommendLove this tree stand. The five screws is a much better design than our previous four screws. The deep well holds alot of water which means less filling. Tree is very secure in this stand. Don't hesitate to purchase.
Holds quite a bit of water which is nice, but difficult to refill the water in the tree stand. It would help if the opening was larger.
Pretty strong and simple
Would RecommendThis was very easy to use and holds a 6 foot tree very sturdy. I have been able to move around my tree with ease.
Plastic Tree Stand
Would RecommendBest tree stand I've had in 30 yrs of marriage and Christmas trees. I was thinking, "Another plastic tree stand...waste of $$.", but it is sturdy and has an ample reservoir for water. Our tree will surely stay alive through the 2012 season!!! Now if I had only purchased a long-nosed watering can. I look like a bad TV commercial when I lie on the floor to water the tree.
