Would Not RecommendI bought 10 bags of this to fill in my raised beds for the season. It is basically shredded wood/mulch. I'll be buying a different product to mix with this now, and hoping that something will grow while all of the wood in this decomposes. Unimpressed.

Possibly Toxic Dust Hazard
Would Not RecommendDust of unknown and unspecified origins is bad enough, but when it kills local wildlife you know there's a problem. On two occasions I found dead animals in the raised bed that had been burrowing in this mix, a squirrel and a mole. I've seen enough. Wear a dust mask. Now, if animals start dying after eating the produce grown in it, it's really a problem.

I just bought 3 bags of this soil and thought it would be great because it is organic....however, there are more giant piece of un-shredded wood it has because unbearably annoying...I am not sure if this will grow anything...stay tuned!
