Buyer Beware of new Thread Design
I shop at Lowe’s a lot. I needed some more deck screws for a deck remodel. I purchased these screws and apparently they decided to change the thread design and will not pull wood together. The old thread design would pull very tightly the new however will typically get caked up with wood and not even countersink the screw most of the time. Hopefully they change back to the old design. Picture attached for comparison.
