What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these deck screws for their star drive head design that eliminates stripping and provides secure grip in dense wood. Reviewers highlight the self-starting capability that prevents wood splitting without pre-drilling, particularly valued for expensive decking materials. The rust-resistant coating performs well in outdoor and saltwater environments, with many noting it holds up over time. A few report isolated issues like occasional splitting in narrow slats or minor coating buildup, but these concerns are negligible compared to widespread satisfaction. Overall, most customers consider them a reliable, go-to choice for decking projects.

No slip star drive and no pre-drilling needed

Would Recommend

These screws go in much easier than traditional deck screws and do not split the wood. I found that a 1/4" impact driver works best with these - so they go in at just the right depth. Also, the stardrive head ensures there is no slippage and therefore no damage to the head. These will be my first choice for future projects.

This is so frustrating knowing I used these for a lot of my ...

They're doing a fine job holding the deck boards but have only been in for a week or two. Time will tell how well they hold up and if they'll rust out.

I always use these wood screws. It’s almost impossible to strip them with the hex heads.

The best screws/ anchors

Would Recommend

I love the 5 star tip that makes fastening these screws easier, less hassle, etc. and even enables you to one handedly use these screws! They are coated and do not rust. And, if you ever need to remove them, the 5 star tip makes removal a breeze!
