Would RecommendThese 4" deck screws are used to secure deadbolt plates on doors at our church and drastically increase the strength of these deadbolts. The torx heads allow the power to drive these long screws without stripping the head.
Grip-Rite PrimeGuard Plus Gold Polymer Deck Screws are about all I use for building anymore. The 3-in screws are the ones that I use most. I have no complaints.

Incorrect bit
The package stated bit included so I went directly to job site and when I arrived they had included a INCORRECT bit so I had to stop job and drive to local hardware store and pay more for bit than I did complete box of screws. Lost 2 hours of work.

Would RecommendThese are easy to use and the torques head makes them better then the Philips heads. The self-drilling is great too. On spots that split easily though I would probably predrill still though because it can still split the wood if it is a weak spot.

Would RecommendNeeded the 4" screw length in a remodel and glad I got these. Had some similar Philips head screws but driver frequently "cammed out" before in driving all the way. These star-drive screws worked like a charm.
