It feels cheaply made, everything is a heavy plastic except the metal alloy shaft. It comes with a strap to help with the weight, which is nice because the battery is solid 10-15 lbs and acts as a counterweight.

Lousy company - buy something else
Would Not RecommendI bought a Greenworks 60-volt string trimmer. after about 5 spool loads it stopped advancing the string. Their website is crappy and horrible customer support. It doesn't even list my model any more, so I can't get any help from them. Buy another brand.

An Excellent 80v trimmer
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes a great addition to my battery powered lawn care system. Since now my mower, leaf blower and trimmer all use the same batteries, I no longer have to deal with any gas powered lawn products. I live on over an acre property with lots of trees and gardens and highly recommend this and all Greenworks 80v lawn products!

Do not use if you have pacemaker
Would RecommendMy father in-law bought this. his first time using it, within a few minutes he started to feel very ill. We took him to the ER and he was admitted for a few days. Upon explaining what he was doing when he first started feeling ill the doctors explained that the electric motor was interfering with the battery in the pacemaker. he came home yesterday and gave this thing away. shame though.
Best trimmer I have owned!
