What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this cordless trimmer for its lightweight, ergonomic design and ease of use, making it ideal for older users and those with limited strength. Most highlight the quiet, cordless operation and convenient 2-in-1 trimmer/edger functionality as major improvements over gas-powered alternatives. Reviewers with small to medium yards report it handles all trimming needs efficiently on a single charge. However, some note battery concerns for larger properties, suggesting a second battery may be necessary. A few mention string feed issues and high replacement spool costs. Overall, most customers find it an excellent choice for typical residential yard maintenance.

Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so very frustrating that the auto-feed spool does not work. Every minute or so I have to take the spool apart and feed out more line by hand. This is my second machine (acquired because the first was stolen but I still had the battery and charger pack and also the mower, which is great) and it is the same problem with the auto-feed.

Great investment for independent lawn care
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being close to 80 the self propulsion feature is unbeatable on my hills and inclines. The blower is superb, very efficient. The trimmer works well but gets too heavy for me, not the trimmer's issue, but mine. I'm not very good with it.

Terrible Line Feeder
The bump feed gets stuck routinely and the strength of the tool is fairly weak. I gave it one season to win me over, but it never did. I will be purchasing a new trimmer next year.

Trimmer
Works great, very fast rotation, light and effective. I use a larger battery that came with the chainsaw.

Don't waste your money on this!
I got this trimmer as a deal with my GW mower. The convenience and freedom of going cordless was very appealing. However, from the time of its very first use, this piece of crap has been nothing but frustrating. No matter how many times you bump the spool (pro tip...DO NOT BUY A BUMP TRIMMER!) the dual lines constantly end up retreating inside the trimmer causing you to have to constantly stop, open up the spool, and reset them, only to have it happen again minutes later. I have read and re-read...

Issue with battery life
Would RecommendOnly issue is lack of battery life. Previous model had a much larger and longer lasting battery

I love my trimmer/edger combo!
Would RecommendQuiet. Lightweight. Easy to maneuver. Easily stored. Takes up little to no space in my garage. Battery is long lasting. Easily changes from trimmer to edger and vice versa. I highly recommend the trimmer/edger combo

Would RecommendThis is our 4th Greenworks tool and just like all the others it delivers above and beyond all expectations. Only downside is the cheep string it comes with.

Just works!
Would RecommendThis thing works great! No complaints, does what it should without fussing about. Not too heavy, nice and maneuverable.

24v edger
The edger was a disappointment because position of trimmer (what is to be affected by position of trimming cord) is difficult to judge. The "guard" (curved metal opposite shield) is easily knocked out of position, thus is ineffective. I enjoy my 48V lawn mower, so the trimmer has been real disappointment.

Impossible to get spool replacement
Bought 2 month go and it's came without replacement spool. Part number for spool technical support providing 2930102 not correct. Impossible to order and even put back order.

Powerful with Plenty of Battery
Would RecommendI have a small city corner lot. This tool last plenty long to go around the entire property. The edging feature works great! The rotation of the pole works great to give me a good angle for edging the grass next to the sidewalk.
