Something is better than nothing

Installed in my attic easily enough, but I am not very sure if it is doing anything for us. I bought this because my wife was convinced that it would help to cut the heat that was radiating into a linen closet from the attic in our condo. Opened it and there was already a significant amount of fiberglass insulation up there. I added this product but have not noticed a difference.
