Would Not RecommendI bought 15+ Govee products late 2024 including the Christmas string 2 lights. One set failed within the first 3 weeks of install and a second has died with in 6 weeks. Lights are on front landscape, plugs and controllers protected from direct rain/snow. Obviously the lights are not designed to the advertised IP ratings or their production is flawed. They do not connect together!
Would Not RecommendThey do not connect! Purchased 2 boxes of the longest length to create a full light look and realized they do not connect. I don't feel one strand would be long enough nor bright enough to fill a 9ft + tree. The amount of money you pay for these, I would expect more.

Amazing outside lights for trees
Would RecommendI used this to wrap a tree outside. Not only does it look amazing, the power supply and controller were buried in the snow with no issues. I did dry out and put in a weather proof box after but did not affect the lights at all. I am buying more for sure.

Would RecommendThe lights are beautiful and definitely an attention grabber. Many folks have commented on how expensive our tree looks with the fullness of the lights. We ordered the 164’ for an 7.5’ tree. Installation takes some trial and error, a hallway marker or quarter markers on the string itself would be super helpful.
