One Strand Great - Two Strands Takes Patience

The instructions provided were sufficient if using only one strand of lights, however other than the box stating that two strands of lights could be connected the instructions did not provide any steps to inform me that the app must be downloaded to my cell phone first and then connect each strand separately via Bluetooth before connecting the two strands together then it worked great instructions should be added to clarify this.

Fun set of lights

Only complaint is that they are not able to get brighter. We use them for a patio and its ok but would like something that was brighter. Like the app versus a remote becuase I just loss those anyway. The drawback on the app are that you need an app but there are lots of features available. I could see myself buying more items from this manufacturer.

Leaky

One rainstorm and a few bulbs have water in them. Seriously?

Terrible design

The light is so light weight it wants to point up instead of hang down. Do not buy.

Good functionality

Overall these are good lights and offer a lot of capabilities. I would definitely get the wifi version on my next order as it offers greater control options, so far I am using them as christmas lights in the front yard and will move to the back yard for summer, but as I said overall pleased with them.

Look and work great

I added two 50 foot strands together and have them on the Christmas tree. Look very good and work well.

Amazing brightness, and an endless amount of possibilities with the App.

So I was hesitant to try these, but I figured I would try them on the front of the house and use them as christmas lights and if they didnt work great then oh well, Id just string them up along the back fence for some extra lighting. Govee G40 LED Outdoor Bulb String Lights

You're currently using an older version of the Govee home app

Purchased H7042 and installed Govee Home app from the play store. When trying to add these the app tells me that I am currently using an older version of the app and gives me an option to go the play store. There is no update option, only open. I uninstalled app and reinstalled with the same issue. I purchased a couple of the indoor RBG light blubs and was able to add these to the app without issue. I have a ticket open but yet to hear from anyone.

Great Lights and Great options

The only reason these do not get 5 stars is you can't mix the warm white with other colors. You either have entire string on warm white or all colors. So if you want to do a color pattern with white it is a cool white (blue white). There are many options and love that you can individually control each color of light.
