Would RecommendI had the Ring wireless for a few years. Every time I tried to connect to the video it took so long that I missed whoever was at the door - every time. The Nest has been way better, regarding response time and connectivity. Simple setup and integration with Home Hub are huge bonuses. Highly recommend over Ring.
Doesn't Chime without Extra Components
Would Not RecommendThis isn’t a "doorbell" as much as a door camera. The "doorbell" only notifies you of a person at the door if you have smart speakers. It doesn't ring to your phone, so if youre away, you'll only get a few minutes of video to your phone via an alert that also doesn't have a sound. Poor design. Returning.
does not maintain charge in cold weather
Would Not RecommendThe subject line says it all. Bought in November and within a month it had to be brought inside to charge. Then temps started to drop and it couldnt keep up. I have it hardwired to doorbell but it didnt matter. If you live anywhere where the temps are around 30-35 and below I do not recommend. Search the internet I’m not the only one having issues and Google is doing nothing about it. Lowes was awesome and accepted my return though.
