Would Not RecommendThe Neat Hardware is great, screen looks really good and is customizable to a degree. It’s unfortunate that you are not able to use the 4th gen with the Near App, that app is smooth and user friendly, the forced migration to google home is absolutely horrendous. Nest products fail
Would Not RecommendMy nest learning thermostat wifi radio has failed. They told me to kick rocks, out of warranty. I guess this is a 2 year throw-away product. This isn't the first time in the past 2 years that I've had a google nest product completely stop working properly and my nest minis seem to be getting dumber and dumber. Doesn't hold set temperature
Would Not RecommendWe have turned off eco mode. We have fiddled with settings. If you don't walk by this thermostat every hour, it will turn the heat down to 56°. I liked the idea of being able to control the thermostat from my phone if I'm cold at night, but it's not worth Google controlling my thermostat. If you like to decide the temperature in your home, I would not recommend this thermostat. The one thing it has going for it is that installation was very easy.

Would RecommendOnce my old thermostat started going off schedule I needed a new one. This nest learning thermostat works great. Since I can program it from my phone it is so easy to use.

Can't get it to maintain temp if I'm out
Would Not RecommendThe eco mode keeps kicking in, even if I shut off yesterday. I went shopping with my wife and helping to tend to an injured relative over the last couple of weeks and keep coming home to a cold house.
