Stops working shortly after warranty ends
Would Not RecommendNest has a known issue with no resolution. Hundreds of people have posted to various forums as far back as 8 years. My Nest thermostat worked great for about 1 year. Now the temperature setting means nothing. I set it at 69 and temp won't go past 63. Google had me try several things that didn't help

Nest Learning saves energy and vacation peace
Would RecommendVery easy to set up. I love that I can be away any season and am able to make changes to my heating or air conditioning as weather changes. It also saves energy on ECO mode when it does not detect motion at home.

Broke bracket
Would Not RecommendWe’ve had our nest for only a year, bracket broke so it won’t spin at all! Everytime we pushed it in it would almost pop off the wall! Called our local Lowe’s and they said we would have to buy another one! It did work as advertised, loved the fact that we could monitor the temperature from our phone

We had to replace our older v1 thermostat, so we upgraded to this newer version, so far working smoother than the old one, and contrary to some reviews install was super simple.
