Great product. It took some creativity to install

I installed 6 of these 24" fixtures in my kitchen. I was replacing twin 12" fluorescent bulb lamps. The bulbs were 450 lumens each and probably dimmed. These 1000 lumens are so much brighter than the old lights. The installation should have been very simple but the existing wires did not line up with many of the knock out holes so I had to drill through the lamp housing. The first one took all day. Perfect - Modern SLIM Design

Had ripped out old fluorescent under counter when we installed new counter top. Although HD had a store near us - the best looing was at Lowes - 12 miles away. Same counter guy said since the wiring was in place he could quickly hook up a new dimmer switch and install lamps in less than an hour. He did!

Impossible to install

This fixture appears good but the installation is a nightmare. I’m an electrical engineer and have installed many fixtures; this one is so cheaply made, you can’t get it back together. The box holding the wires is too small to fit their wires AND the power wires. Then the instructions are so poor you can’t figure how to get it together again. Save your money and go a a company who considers you will be upside down when you try to put it back together.

Design problems

Punch areas not sufficiently punched out. Very hard to get them open. Mounting is designed to be invisible and that makes it very hard to mount the fixtures, bearing in mind that we are working under a cabinet. Inlet plate for power has too large a feed thru fitting and hole is very difficult to punch out. The fixtures work fine one installed.

We love these under counter lights. Had them hard wired and they really add something special to our kitchen.

Switch the switch please

I like the three different light colors. But as the electrician was installing it, the little plastic slider switch controlling the colors fell into the sink. I watched him put it back on. Since then it has fallen off twice and I’ve had to put it back on. Hopefully it is secure in place now, but I think it’s a permanent problem. To return it I’d have to pay another $200 to have it reinstalled, so I’ll have to live with the glitch.

Design and Installation Nightmare

First, I am a retired electrician, instrumentation tech, electronics tech. I've installed a thing or two over the past 50 years. I bought the 24 " version - Be aware that no matter how you install, you will have exposed wire or conduit. To bright for comfort.

They are very bright at all 3 settings. When you turn them on in the morning they will hurt your eyes. Need to find a way to lower the intensity. Maybe a filter to block some of the light.

Great lighting with options for color temperatur.

I purchased 2 of these lights. I found the light slightly difficult to install at first due to the limited amount of space in the housing. I was stringing to prewired lights together. The second light was much easier to install. I additionally installed a dimmer switch which adds to the options.

Good light, horrid installation.

I am a handyman, but not an experienced electrical fixture installer. Because of the slim design of this light, the installation is a horrid experience. The layout of the interior wires on this makes the installation a nightmare. I was unable to use the quick connectors supplied, and this added to the challenge.
