Doesn't make installation easy

Not recommended; difficult to install. I bought 6 of these lights for my kitchen to replace existing incandescent lighting. It met all my requirements: 120V AC hardwired, adjustable color, dimmable with wall switch. This type of lighting fixture is expensive, but tape lighting wouldn't work with my existing wiring. From the hard-wired light, linking can be to the left, or to the right, or to both right and left. Some brands have stated restrictions or poorly worded descriptions on linkage requirements. Not as fool proof as advertised

I purchased this under-counter fixture for the fool proof installation. This might have been the case if the mounting screws were designed with anything more than balsa wood in mind. The screws are under-engineered, too short and the heads strip with any added effort. Each screw in 3 fixtures (2 each) had to be replaced with a longer, more coarse, screw with sharper tips. The lights are somewhat difficult to mount. The plastic preset for the screws breaks easily. So you may need an alternate screw to mount them.

Cheap & poor design, terrible hardware

The build quality overall is very poor. The LED covers pop out easily, fastener covers fall right out, and switches are loose. The worst of all is the hardware. The "captive" mounting screws were loose on arrival on 5 out of 6 lights. The screws are not self tapping, so if your cabinets are hard you will have to predrill. But since there is a plastic piece to hold the screws, there's no easy way to mark where to predrill. The screws are also too short, several stripped (by hand) with no effort ...

The electric wires were already in place from previously installed florescent fixtures-what a great difference.

Terrible Installation and I'm Exhausted

I have never purchased an under cabinet light that had this much difficulty installing. It's ridiculous. The wood screws are too short for the first installation option. You may get 1/8" purchase into the cabinet if you're lucky. That would definitely not hold if screwing into MDF material. Multi-option brightness

The slim design keeps this light almost invisible. The option for 3 brightness levels is a feature not easily found in most under cabinet lighting.

Falls apart easily

I purchased 3 in different sizes. The metal casing is thin, flimsy and bends easily. I tried to gently remove the punch out cover for the wire entry. As soon as i lightly impacted and twisted, the entire back side bent and wouldn't hold the plastic light cover. I got it back together and finished wiring, then tried to screw the unit into the cabinet underside and the plastic screw guide popped loose and the entire light fell apart.
