Great Storage Solution

I was looking for a sturdy, reasonably priced, visually appealing shelf unit for my garage. This totally fit the bill. Shelf if extremely well made and has taken our garage to the next level.

Great for odd spaces

I had a few 4x8 and even 8x8 ceiling mounts but this works well above the garage and the track and builds useable space where most space would eb lost. I used one of these for holding tires which the tire specific versions cost much more with a very close design. I put my 200LB self on it while finishing the install and it held just fine. This is a great size and shape with adjustable height for your needs.

Solid overhead shelf

Solid product and fairly easy installation for one able-bodied person. It took me about 3 hours to install by myself and that was with numerous measuring/remeasuring to ensure everything was mounted in the right spots.

Have extra lag bolts ready for the ceiling mounts!

After completely assembled, noticed a ceiling mount bracket seemed loose. Checked the lag bolt for looseness and found that it had had broken off about 1/2" under the head. Luckily, I had some lag bolts in my toolbox so I added a couple more to each of the brackets. I read other reviews that had a similar problem. That's definitely a safety issue and should be fixed. The rest of the assembly seems pretty solid and well finished. Time will tell.

Two of the bolts sheared off - that's 25% of the bolts so it doesn't feel safe holding hundreds of pounds of goods in the air. This was a Christmas gift that we now have to return

These shelves are worth the money!

This product is heavy duty, and arrived in flawless condition. We hired two people to install the three shelves we purchased, and they are hanging and functioning perfectly. Couldn't be more pleased.

Time consuming install

Takes some time to get the mounting bars correct. Second one I have put abs still took 3 hours to get installed. Very happy with product

Sturdy and wonderful but nor too easy to install

As others have said, it’s a bit diffficult to line up all the lag bolts but there is enough leeway in the final hanging step to make it work. I was very careful to measure all the distances between the bolts and the supports hanging down and it worked. LOTs of work and drilling up through rafters isn’t fast or easy. The main thing is get the lag bolts right the first time as there really ren’t second chances. And know that there is enough room to work with on the metal parts where they can shift...

The only thing I did not like about storage shelfs is that they were only available in black. It appears that the manufacturer has discontinued white
