Best I've ever bought!

I have instaled three different brands of overhead racks in two different houses. And this one is easily the best. From the packaging to including a drill bit. It's far more rigid than the others and easier to install. I wisk I would have used Gladiator first. I had zero issues with the lag bolts, and I doubt you will either as long as you predrill like the instructions say.

Missing bolts in package

8 of the bolts that hold it together were missing so installers went back to Lowes who didn't carry the exact bolts and get some replacements.

Read Before Buying

Product is well built. Instructions are so simple, it makes the reader stupid. I looked at the information, my son looked at the information, my son-in law who previously installed similar products looked at the information...and duh. After drilling a dozen useless holes in the ceiling I finally gave in and hired a handyman. It took him 5 hours to install by himself. Overhead storage

Great storage racks. When set up at highest level on standard ceiling, still plenty of store space while allowing you to walk under without crouching.

Really difficult to install

I replaced the lag bolts per recommendation from other reviews. They should really come with washers for the lag bolts as well which I forgot. They ceiling supports are 26" in length and I had a hard time install them in parallel vice perpendicular. The book should state that you should be able to use both parallel and perpendicular and a mix of the two depending on your studs. I'm not confident that my racks are mounted into the studs. Black Friday got New Years

Great system, easy install. Much nicer finish and thickness of materials than expected. Install with my buddy took 2hrs, with beer. I did purchase different lags as i have learned to not rely on what comes in kits like this. SUV parks underneath with shelf set at about halfway on ceiling mount, around 30inches from shelf to ceiling. Took awhile to receive likely do to “pandemic” cause that was just 2020.

Great Product I want another one!

I love this storage shelf. Get help installing it if you can. I didn't have help but I managed to get it up by myself. I did have to divert from the instructions a little but that wasn't a big deal. The only difficult part was finding studs that aligned where I originally wanted to place the unit. For anyone about to install it I would definitely measure twice drill once. Very difficult to install

This product is very difficult to install in a corner. When picking up the large bottom section the drop angle corners want to move. This makes it very hard to lock the sections in place. We have installed other MFGs and did not have any problems. The grid should be able to be removed so you have access to the bolts and hold the angle together so the can lock into place.

Great Storage Rack!

Installed 3 of these in our garage last week for overhead storage. Very easy to install if you have any experience in diy. Very well made and highly recommend. Installed by myself with little difficulty. Some steps would have been a little easier with a second set of hands but was able to manage. Outstanding overhead rack

This storage rack is very well built and easily assembled. I'm considering buying another one.

Strong and easy to install

LOve the new ceiling racks as they go together easily and are made with high quality material and look professional when complete. One suggestion when installing by yoirself- assemble them in 4’x4’ sections eather than the full 4x8 size as its nearly impossible to do alone. Other than that, these things are danrastiv and change your storage area completely.

Get yourself one!

Convenient easy access to unused storage areas. Easily pays for itself in a couple months after installation. Heavy duty and finely finished construction.

Stong and Quality Construction

I would highly recommend this to anyone that has been looking for something like this. The quality is real good and instructions are easy to follow. You will need another person to help lift this up into position, even the instructions say you will need more than one person. The only downside i found is even though it is a 4’x 8’ design, it is just barely too small for a 4x8 piece of plywood. This is due to the lip, facing into the rack, on the middle supports.

easy install

This went together easily with two people assembing and hanging the rack.

Great product

Assembly is quick and easy. It takes a few hours to get up, but not difficult. I do recommend having at least 2 people to get the platform up, 4 was even better.
