Rack is on heavy side, definitely have help hangin

Easy to assemble, but instructions do not explain which way the braces need to face. If someone places the wrong the shelf will not reach each brave.

Likes: good looking, nice finish, light, strong. Easy to install once the brackets into the joists are secure. Cheaper than building something similar from scratch. Dislikes: even with an electronic stud finder it took a while to locate the 2x4 joists behind the drywall ceiling and get the spacing right (I installed the joist brackets perpendicular to the joists). Good ceiling storage.

Easy to assemble, strong, good sized, and the white color prevents the ceiling from feeling too low.

Worth the Effort.

Definitely at least a two man job to put it in place. But once up, very solid and great storage for your garage.

No install issues. Recommend 2 people install.

I purchased and installed 2 of the 4 X 8 Gray Steel Overhead garage storage systems. I did not have any problems with the large bolts that were mentioned in prior reviews. I suspect this was an issue with supply during the pandemic which has been corrected. I tightened the bolds with drill and by hand with a ratchet without issue. I like that it is adjustable.
