The rack floor has some sharp edges

The storage rack was easy to assemble and install. The instructions were easy to follow. The only downside was that I needed to reduce how low from the ceiling the rack was hanging because it was being mounted above the area where the garage door comes up. Fortunately I have a Dremel with a metal cutting wheel, so the adjustment was fairly simple make. You definitely have to have a second individual to be able to mount the rack floor to the installed ceiling supports.

Faulty directions and parts - mounting flush

I've spent 3 hours just planning this project, reading reviews, etc. before I start making holes in my ceiling. Good thing I did. Contrary to Gladiator's answer to the questions about whether this can be flush mounted to wall, you CAN'T do so if you're using the Parallel layout option. In that config, you need clearance behind P2 bracket and the wall to accommodate both F1 bolt head AND enough clearance to get the provided allen wrench into the bolt had to tighten. I thought about reversing ...

Great deal on a good product

Pretty easy to install! In fact, I installed two by myself. Lots of getting up and down the ladder. They were thinner and lighter than I expected. I'm glad I went with the two by eights, four by eight would have been way too much shelf for me.

Not easy to hang.

I like the extra storage space and that it's adjustable. But it was difficult to hang up. Luckily I had the contractor put it up for me during the garage reno. They said it was difficult to figure out how to do it. Once it was up it looks good and is just what I expected.

Great shelf once installed

5 stars when installed. However the process of installing yourself is much more difficult than I was expecting. The shelf itself, after installed, is solid.

Great product for overhead storage

Perfect size and fit for the area I wanted to use in my garage. Very sturdy.

Fantastic storage space

Just put up my third rack (2 at daughter’s, and 1 at son’s). Parts are high quality. Paint job is great, fasteners high quality, and everything fits together like it should! Highly recommend!
