What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the compact, lightweight design and convenient screw-based blade replacement system that allows quick swaps using coins. Most appreciate its portability for daily carry and reliability in professional settings. However, several report the belt clip breaks easily and the retaining screw strips or goes missing. Many also express frustration finding compatible replacement blades that fit snugly without rattling. Despite durability concerns, most customers consider it a dependable everyday tool worth the investment.

My wife found this knife while on a bicycle ride. I have since carried it every day. The playing is worn off. It is still working good as new. Hinge is tight. One hand opening. Super thin. I tossed the clip. It always has a good edge because it’s a razor blade. I can strip wire chop metal or plastic and replace the blade. Fantastic little knife for pollen ig boxes or using every day at work.

Very good quality knife
I got the Eab lite for Christmas and I love everything about it. I clip it on my back left pocket when I got in the clip got caught on the set and broke the clip off. Do you offer replacement clips or is that covered in the warranty.

Love this knife, as do some of my co-workers. We work in a cabinet shop, and find these lightweight, versatile, and we are quite fond of them. I lost the screw that holds the razor blade in place, and it's proving difficult to find a new one. Other than that, best razor knife I've ever seen since I started in construction in 1994.

With all the lovely high end knives I own-turns out this is my favorite EDC due to the lightweight, simplicity, and ability to flip/replace the utility blade. Wish they replaced the blade retention screw with a thumb stud for easier opening which brings it down from a five.

Once Hurricane Harvey stopped pounding on us in Houston it was time for a great deal of cleanup. This starts with removal of old water soaked carpet. So most things sellout very quickly and this little Gerber was one of the few left. Bought it and a box of blades and went to work. Simply could not have worked better. The larger quick change knife was difficult to keep track of - this little knife is always handy because it fits right into the third small front pocket of proper blue jeans. With t...

I love the EAB/EAB Lite. My only complaint is with regard to the blade screw. I’d really prefer a quick release or button release to remove the blade. But otherwise a nicely made utility knife that has ascetic appeal. I carry mine daily. I’ve also buy them for my family and friends.

I love the EAB. It's very useful, allowing me to use a disposable blade for more menial cutting tasks, instead of dulling my folder, while also doubling as my money clip. That being said, I wish it was available in more colors. Most of my EDC is black, so this kind of sticks out more than I'd prefer. Still, great piece. When more color options are available, it will get the fifth star when more color options become available. Aside from that minor gripe, it's almost perfect for what it is.

Great little utility blade! I've seen some people complain about the screw that holds the blades in place: If you're willing to risk it, you can use the back side of the new blade to unscrew the screw, and the back of the old one to close it back up. You can also use just about any coin (excluding euros) to turn the screw in a pinch when you dont have the proper screwdriver.

I am enjoying my new EAB Lite industrial razor knife. I would like the thumb screw to be a little more pronounced so I could open it easier. But I am satisfied with my purchase and I would suggest it to you as a maintenance worker.

Compact, lightweight and durable. What's not to like? Had mine for 3 years and still works like new. Love my EAB.

I'm not sure why some people complain about blades - it's a standard two-notch utility blade widely available in US. The only suggestion which would GREATLY improve the product - replace the setting screw (M3 thread) with the thumb screw that has a knurled head. I modified mine and now I don't need a screwdriver every time I need to replace a blade.

At first I loved this knife! Then both ends of the stock blade became dull and standard "utility" blades do not fit. Some blades only have two notches in the back and those that have three holes do not line up with the blade retaining screw. This knife was a gift from my son and I hate to throw it away, but it is useless without a blade!

I love this little thing. I use it all the time till , and I knew this would eventually happen, I lost that little screw. Bip it was gone right down the drain. So except for the fact that the little screw will be lost at some point in time this IS a great little knife.

Hands Down the best knife for field dressing
I have two of these now, one that I carry everyday at my office for all the fine tasks of a professional, from box opening to page trimming. But the other one lives in my hunting pack. Yesterday I got a buck, and I went back and forth between using the big folding knife (also Gerber) I inherited from my father and using this knife to handle all the field dressing, skinning and fine meat trimming. Sitting next to a cooler full of venison neatly labeled in freezer bags, I can say that, hands down,...

Bought one of these for job sites in my carpentry course, and have already used it for everything from sharpening pencils to cutting away excess spray foam from insulation. Love this knife! Way to go Gerber.

Great pocket knife, I like how it opens 1 handed and can be closed one handed. Love the design, but I've lost 2 so far when i take my keys out of my pocket. I tried the back pocket and it fell out there also. Wish there was a hole where a lanyard can be attached.
