Would Not RecommendThe product is ok until it broke, customer service is worse than terrible, dense representatives totally WOKE mind sets, you register then they tell you its not register, re-register they send you a email saying its not been registered, so you do it again repeatedly, ask for to speak to a supervisor the representative REFUSES that request NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL WE EVER USE A GENIE PRODUCT Also you cannot get this unit to work with HOMELINK etc to get is connected to Iphone or you vehicle

Impossible to setup
Would Not RecommendInstallation was easy. Instructions were good. Trying to set up the travel range and closing force is next to impossible. There are no adjustment screws, just buttons that are supposed to it automatically my door didn't stay closed. Tried to adjust with buttons but wouldn't go into setup mode.

Program buttons don't align with control board
Would Not RecommendInstallation of opener was straight forward. Programming was impossible. After trying several times to follow the programming instructions, all I was able to do was set the down stop. The original belt was ruined during these efforts when the opener ran the turnbuckle into the end pulley, bending the gold screw and metal end that holds the belt. Genie replaced the belt after 4 calls and sending many pics. That took a day and lots of patience. But I still could not program it, it would not rever...

The unit was well designed and the mechanical part of putting it together went reasonable well. The horror show was the supplied wire and installing the safety beams. The wire would not split in two and even cutting it apart was terrible. The beams took three tries to get mounted and they stick out too far. Lastly, the recommended drill hole sizes were way to small for the screws/bolts supplied.

Unfortunately, Lowe's installation was ridiculous! they never called to install even after several calls and emails to the store inquiring on status. Had to find our own person to do it. Dont waste your time with any install services from Lowes.
