Ease of use

Wow, very simple to use. Always wanted one, but needed one now for ice fishing house. Easy manual, easy oil fill and WOW first pull. Super quiet.

I like the 30 amp for RV

The only reason I gave low stars is. My unit is not starting properly. I must use choke all the time to get it started. If someone from Generac could help I would apricate it.

Great Generator - a bit heavy

I love this generator. Powerful and quiet. The only downside is weight: 100 pounds. I wish there was some sort of wheel accessory for it to make it easier to move around.

Great generator

I bought this last night at mills fleet farm due to the outage from windstorms in our area. Utility keeps pushing back power back on time and date. As these outages are becoming more common, I purchased this for these emergencies. Started first pull after removing from box and adding fuel and oil. Unit is fairly quiet. Super impressed at first but then...

I bought this generator to run my cab-over camper on various trips throughout the year. I had a 2K watt previously and it just wasn't enough to handle the microwave and other accessories, so I upgraded to the Generac 3K watt and at first was impressed at how quiet it was and how it seemed to handle all my accessories fairly easy ripening through the 30amp RV outlet, but then...on a recent trip I decided to camp in a tent shelter and use the generator to run a 1500 watt space heater to keep warm ...

Trouble starting generator

Recently purchased GP2500 generator. Add the oil and fuel as stated in start up guide. The generator fired right up and used it for about 20 minutes running an electric trimmer. Stored it in my shop for month. I got it out last week added fuel. Now it won't start, checked the oil level. Still won't start up. Do you have any things to try before I find an authorized dealer that does repairs.

Great out of the box

Amazed it started!

To be entirely honest I was amazed the generator even started after seeing the condition of the box it arrived in. The case of the generator was apparently damaged slightly where the front control panel is attached to the case but I didn't feel it would be a problem with the operation of the unit. I didn't have the opportunity to check the output voltage and frequency at this time but will get to that later. Portable Power

Nothing beats portable power! I have a 12 amp corded leaf blower/ vacuum, and several areas that need my equipment, unfortunately they are just too far for extension cords so I needed portable power, and this is exactly what I needed. It’s not too heavy to move around and it’s very easy to use, Excellent product!

Generac is awesome love there products

I love Generac power washer and inverters they perfectly fine and I’m easy to used for any occasion.

generac 2200i got it started it ran great did the same twice more and ran great the 4th time ran like crap still in shop waiting 10 weeks later never did get to use but do have another one and it runs great still and have used this one just disappointed in the second one ?????

Is perfect for camping or general use.

I actually bought this late in the season on our last camping weekend. I was pleased with the easy pull start. Started up right away. Did a great job charging the camper battery. Will run everything except the a/c.

Good product without much support or info

First off I won this in a raffle, so there is nothing to complain about. However I would like to point out a few things that I feel could be done better by Generac. First off, there are no break in instructions included with the generator. I assume every small engine needs a break in period so I had to look this up myself and perform it. This product is compact and quiet

Ordered product arrived on time. Shipped product was not damaged. Opened box, added oil & fuel and it started immediately! This product runs very quiet and efficiently. I may order another plus a parallel kit to run two units for more power.

Simple to start.

Easy to start and run. Real quite to run. Can hardly hear it running when compared to my older generator that this replaced.

Not worth it. Go cheaper or go Honda.

If you're looking to buy a Generac generator and not an expensive Honda or a cheap brand, it's because you have some faith in the middle ground or you're familiar with the brand. I chose Generac because they seemed to have some recognition and a good mix of quality and value, but I no longer think this is the case. New Unit Tested By Hurricane Ida

I bought two of these units for construction work but did not use them until Hurricane Ida. I used one and it's quiet and worked flawlessly. I used it for about a week nonstop. The power lasted about 8 hrs per tank full. I powered a house refrigerator, washing machine, several fans and computers. I did buy the inverter generator parallel kit to tie the two units together to supply 6000 but did not need it yet.
