Happy so far

Just got this. But so far great and super quiet. The only thing I wish it had was wheels. It overall it’s great. I will let try to write another review after we use it.

Pull cord came out of handle on first pull

I bought Generac because they are a local company that I have heard nothing but good things about. This morning I was excited to add the oil and gas and fire up this beautiful looking generator. I even went and bought gas that contains no ethanol. Gas, check! Oil, Check! Choke on, check! Time to pull this baby and listen to a quiet hum. NO! As I start to pull the started cord I did not even get the cord out 6" and the cord comes out of the handle and disappears into the motor. :( T...

The GP 3000i is super quiet and is a Smooth Runner

I just purchased my GP 3000i unit and it is great! I added the supplied oil, filled with 91 (no ethanol), turned the selector switch to Run, and honestly, the first pull started this little beauty. I ran it for 7 hours powering my fifth wheel (50-amp plug converted) and it ran flawlessly. When you turn the selector switch to OFF, it takes a minute or two to run the gas out of the line to shut it down, so don't panic, the switch does indeed work to shut it off. Thank you, Generac.

Outstanding

The best generator for back up on home. Easy to use.

What a mess

Opened box to a oil covered generator even though it was shipped with no oil. The oil filler cap was not installed. Spent the next Three hours washing and cleaning up. Can't say how it works yet. I will keep my fingers crossed on that.

Great portable power

This generator is good for power when plugs are to far away for an extension cord.

Just bought this generator and I am so pleased. It is exactly as described. Runs my whole camper 13,500 BTU AC all lights etc. Runs nice and quiet. For the money I haven't seen a better product on the market. Comes with all you need to get started including a funnel to put the oil in the generator. Wouldn’t shut off

Brand new generac 3300i right out of the box put gas and oil in it started right up but when I turn the dail to off it keeps running very disappointed hope my warranty pays for this or you’ll hear more reviews

Bought the Generac 33000i and Love IT!

The Generac is amazing unit and brand. It is quiet, easy to start easy to use and incredibly efficient. The Generac is everything you want and need in a household generator, infact it is a far better value than the Honda and is feature for feature as good or better. This model can handle anything a house needs including washer, dryer, refrigerator etc. I am extremely happy with Generac and you will be too!

Very Nice

I purchased a GP3000i I never had a portable generator I had a big roll around one and was hard to start. The GP3000i was easy to setup and started first pull. I can't believe how quiet it is and seems like it is good quality. I would definitely recommend this generator.

Lasted 3 years

I estimate I got a little over 1200 hours of use before the 120V port to the inverter fried rendering the otherwise perfectly running and maintained generator useless and shortened my already expensive camping trip. When I explained the issue to customer service, I was told I needed the control panel so I ordered it. Bought it to use for my Maple Sugaring operation works great every time for everything. I would definitely buy another one.

Runs good, good value, but hard to start- found workaround

I bought the GP2500i new a the beginning of December 2021 to provide some backup power if the electricity went out. I wasn't looking for a home backup- just to charge cellphones, led lights, run a single 1500W heater, power the fridge or freezer now and then to keep things from spoiling. From the unit's initial start-up, it took 5+ pulls to get it started. Successive starts were the same. 8-10 pulls to get it to start. Fresh fuel, 90+ Octane, no difference. Began positive

I have had several carb issues. I worked where we sold Generac generators, and always spoke highly of them. I owned a GP5500 prior w/ few problems. I always kept ethanol free gas or gas w/ Stabil in my IQ3500 . Which purchased 9/2019. I had one carb replacement a year ago ,after a month wait for parts from Generac. Great generator packing sucks side of the unit slightly crushed but it runs great! Looks like fedex droped it or just kicked it around
