We are very pleased with the installation process, the technicians did a great job running the lines and installing the units. Upon startup one of the units needed a new part it is currently being ordered. and we are waiting arrival of the part.

I like everything about the Generac Generators

All the access and features on the Generac Generators are designed to be user friendly and well designed. I own one myself, as well as purchasing one for the business I work at. I have refered and recommended them to several people and they have all purchased them, and are extremely satisfied with them as well !!!!

I hope the battery charge in this on lasts better than my last 25 K generator and seeing the housing is now made of a newer metal it won't rust like the last one...they did offer some paint to fix it tho....let hope and pray I never need it how about you make an EMP proof generator I'd buy another one just for that reason

Error Code 2650

Just had this generator installed two weeks ago. The installation went great. The post-installation test went fine. We were very excited to have this operational and the peace of mind that comes with it. After installation, I recalled not hearing the weekly test (maybe I was elsewhere at the time). Then took a closer look and notice the flashing red light and error code 2650, missing cam pulse. I cleared the fault Code with advice from my installer and tried to start it manually. It would...

Great System

Installation went very well and the system started right up after installation was complete. The installation team selected Generac's 30 KW system for our business. Everything is running great!

Is working perfect

We had our whole house generator installed and one day afterwards, our power went out at 11:55 PM. Power was restored at 6:00 AM. The next morning, I mentioned to my wife that the generator worked perfect. She never realized that we had lost power for six hours. The generator kicked on within seconds and ran superbly for the six hours we were without house power. A wise decision! We were so tired of being without power. It takes the utility company too long to respond. Great product so far.

Wish it had just a few more features

Just installed last week, so it's hard to give a full and accurate rating of this unit. But were in the height of hurricane season so a full review will be forth coming. Last year we had an 11k propane at our old house, no complaints at all. What would be nice for this 20k protector series is the typical scroll through menu that would boost the features rating. I would like to see voltage line to neutral, line to line and amps.

The Generator was installed 2 days ago

The generator looks and functions great. The installation was smooth. My only wish is that it came with a bigger fuel tank. When tested by our electrician the unit performed great.

This is the second time I have worked w.Rusty and his crew @ Generac in supplying a generator for my homes. They were professional, timely, cost effective and knew exactly how to provide me the product I needed at the right price. The most recent installation involved multiple buildings on my property and Generac designed a system to handle the load I might need using great technology. I would HIGHLY recommend Generac for your needs.

Excellent piece of equipment

This 48K watt generator replaces a 20K watt Generac. What is most remarkable is that being more than double the capacity it is much more quiet when running! It is only been activated for two days but we are certain this generator is going to work flawlessly during commercial power outages. It has yet to take on a load with commercial power removed but again we are confident this generator is going to perform without any issues and prevent any business disruptions.

Likely excellent; however, to early to really rate.

Installation, hookup & commissioning was all easy as was the Generac support with the technician performing the start-up. I’ll be able to provide a more accurate review after we witness the programed weekly maintenance runs and actual power failure performance.

Greatest features offered in 30kw products

2nd Generac product for our family. Installed 1st 15years ago with NO issues other than normal expected maintenance. With retirement coming up in the near future decided to upgrade to the only company I know and have trusted for the past 15 years. My old unit is being moved over to the cow pasture to handle the electric fences in times of power outages there, still runs great just found a new purpose. Look forward to years of great service on my new 30kw Generac.

Quiet and Powerful!

I was pleasantly surprised as to how quiet this 48KW unit runs. Enough power to run my entire house (w/ 4 A/C systems). Beats the heck out of the little 15KW unit I had. And it is so quiet!

Super Quiet in a nice smaller footprint

Love my new 48 Kw generator from Generac. It is much smaller than my 20 year old one that I just replaced. half as loud as the old one as well which is awesome. And the new transfer switch boxes are so much smaller than the old ones so now my electrical area looks alot nicer. Not so many big boxes on the side of my house. Looking forward to 15 years of full power when there is a power outage.Thanks Generac.
