Bracket okay, screws fail

The brackets are fine, but don't use the screws that come with it. I installed two brackets, which is six screws. Two screws broke. The phillips head started to strip then just snapped off. Use quality screw with a driver besides awful phillips. Who uses phillips when other obviously superior drivers on the market?

Sturdy and robust. I've used this product 2 times with great results.

The bracket was exactly what I was looking for - although I would have preferred one that attached to the wall with 2 screws.

Handrail bracket

I wanted a bracket that was both sturdy and beautiful. This bracket fit both perfectly. Used a heavy duty popular rail and newel post. The combination was very sturdy.

Great brackets. Elevates the rail so that your fingers don't contact the bracket when sliding along the rail. Brackets are attractive and strong.

Well made, easy to install. Locate wall stud with stud finder, Mark height, single screw into wall stud, on each end, attach rail with two small screws, Both ends and you're done. Seemed sturdy, gave it a pretty serious tug, didn't seem to move

I could not have made a better choice for putting up a handrail. I put a handrail on each side of the steps and I now wonder why I did not do it years ago.

Way better than the less expensive brackets

I get it, you need to put up a hand rail for Pops or Nana. These are way stronger that anything in stock that costs less.

So these are still inexpensive but way stronger than anything else that costs less. I'm sure there are better handrail brackets, but I'm not spending $25 per bracket.
