The durability of the sapphire glass is amazing. I would have given a higher rating but the DLC black coating does not hold up to wear and tear very well. Have had the watch for several months and it is already starting to wear off. This is a watch with many options to customize, customers looking for more of just a watch with a few tracking features may want to step down to a lower model to save some cost.

Great features but dim screen
I wanted to love this watch. I ended up trying this after purchasing the Epix. I’ve got quite a small wrist and this 7s is absolutely my size, but the dim screen makes the watch almost unusable. I had the display brightness all the way up. The features of the watch are amazing. If only the screen and solar capacity of the Epix could make its way to the 7s (and add cellular), this would be the perfect watch. It’s so close, but unfortunately the massive Epix still sits on my wrist. I do LOVE the c...

Nice watch
I bought the 7s as it states the battery would last 37 hours . I run 100 miles and need at least 30 hours . Even with the solar thoa watch won't last past 24 hours . I had to charge on the run for my last 100 miler . I love the size and all the features I just wish it would last at least 31 hours

Great for running!
I have had an Apple Watch for years and recently switched as I have become a very active runner. It takes some time to get used to this compared to the Apple Watch and the calories burned overall are quite different. However, I love this watch, it is really helping me become a better runner and I also love the sleep tracking!

Blown Away.
Every single day that I use this watch, I am completely blown away with happiness. It has changed my life… it has gave the tools I needed to live a more fit and healthy lifestyle. I love the climb pro feature and just all the daily Information it provides me. I can’t say enough about the Garmin connect app either… to think it’s absolutely free when other companies are charging a hearty premium for the same thing. The app is wonderful. Just nothing but good things to say… whatever your doubts are...

Usable features
Every feature you need with a few extra you dont really need. Pretty much every metric is good but the SP02 is not really accurate or reliable enough. The lower weight, smaller size and longer battery all deliver to make this the bestgarmin yet

What I Needed For Hiking
I switched over from an Apple Watch which I loved but it’s battery life substantially lacked for hours of hiking. Garmin is able to withstand, track and backtrack. It lacks 5 stars because it forces me to have data on it I don’t want and I can’t delete like golf and sking courses. I’m a hiker. I also don’t like counting “reps or poses” on my tracker and I have not found a way to eliminate those as options or just add more than Single custom workout which somehow still counts reps. It co...

Doesn’t read heart rate through tattoo!
I have owned a Fenix 5s sapphire glass for the past 5 years on my left wrist which has flower and lace tattoo. Never did I have a problem. I wanted to upgrade to the 7s solar so I did. My biggest regret is that I sold my 5S already. Once I got my watch it never wanted to read my heart rate but maybe for 2 to 30 minutes out of the day. Very sporadic if it would catch your heart rate. So I returned it and got another one thinking it was something wrong with Watch. Shortly after getting a new one I...

Great watxh
The watch has so many functions. I can track so many different types of workouts and also monitor my performance, improvement and rest. On top of an amazing watch, Garmin’s customer service is incredible.

intuitive, reliable and durable! what more can you ask for in a sport watch!

Full featured watch without being oversized. Allows for structured workouts in all sport modes. Have not found a negative. New health and wellness features (ex. sleep score) have increased my intentionality with improving myself. Overall great watch, pricey for a beginner, but worth it if planning to expand the sports used or just willing to pay for an improved package.

Nice Upgrade from the 6
I have the Fenix 6S Sapphire and really like it. I honestly would still be wearing it had I not upgraded to the Fenix 7S Sapphire Solar. For those of you that don't already know, the more features you use on your watch, the more it drains the battery. So the solar option for me piqued my interest because I utilize a lot of the features. I am very happy with my new purchase. Sometimes it's difficult to justify spending more money on a watch when you already have one. In this case, I can jus...

Caloric Burn Very Inaccurate
I thought this device would provide accurate real time calorie burn but data compared to Nike, Apple and NordicTrack while completing the same exercises at the same time, produced a caloric burn differential of almost 50% compared to the other data gathered from the other devices over the same time period and activities. When the data was presented to Garmin so that they could immediately address, the company instead of being very surprised, instead has shown no sense or urgency in getting to th...

Surprised
I have debated buying a smart watch for years. I own a Garmin for my bike so when I decided it was time for a smart watch Garmin was a no-brained. I’ve been more pleased and surprised by the fenix than I had anticipated. Great watch - comfortable, usable, intuitive, and functionally solid.

Great watch with poor watch band selection.
So many features to love. Touch is great. Music is great. Pairs with my headphones quickly. Connects to satellites quickly. I haven't used maps yet, but I'm sure that'll be sufficient for what I need. I was concerned about getting the small vs the regular as my wrist size is right in between, but because I use it at night for sleep track went with the small. The only downside to the 7s is that the 20mm watch band selection from Garmin is significantly smaller than the regular Fenix 7. Basic colo...

Semi-Satirical reveiw to counter the other one,. Five stars because it fits small wrists and clearly the size is the most important metric to go by here. Nevermind the incredible battery life, stout durability, cutting edge GPS accuracy, and comprehensive data set. For my tiny wrists, its all about the size. ;) Great watch for multisport endurance athletes looking for a device to last for those 100mi Ultra Runs, but can still track your climbs and ski mountaineering trips. Also, it's small an...
