Battery, Battery, Battery life! A week with regular GPS tracking is the big highlight. All the tracking metrics are great as well. The quality look and feel are what initially drew me to it.

I bought this epix watch used to see how I would like it. It's nice it has a lot of features that I am surprised with and it's nice looking. I wanted something I wouldn't have to worry about thrashing, because I do a lot of manual labor I wanted to see just how hard I am working, and so far I found out a little to much intel. The only thing I didn't like is, I managed to drain the battery and figured once I charged it it would go to the correct time, it didn't and I was surprised when it was 20 ...

Fantastic watch

Had for 2 years and love it! Favorite features: easy-to-read display, long battery life (at least 1 week under heavy use when display is set to the default), a list of key metrics when I wake, sleep score, phone notifications, and activity tracking that updates Strava. Negatives - none really other than perhaps that the charging cord can be a bit finicky and needs moving around, but the replacement doesn't require that, so just replace the cord if that happens to you.

Bought for the display, use the flashlight often.

I bought this to replace a Fenix 6X Pro mostly for the new display. I wasn't disappointed with the bright beautiful display, but I am surprised how much I use the built in flashlight. It has connected flawlessly to my iPhone and is able to take abuse when I'm working on cars and welding etc. Very happy with the product.

Great feature packed watch!

Finally!!!! I found an awesome watch that does it all without worrying about battery life! This watch has been great for me! I like to track my workouts and I’m an avid golfer. My Apple Watch was great for workouts but I really didn’t want to carry my phone in my pocket while golfing. Was looking at the S70, didn’t really want to spend that much on a watch I was not familiar with. Had it for about a month and a half and am happy with it

I have since "upgraded" to the Fenix 8 and honestly miss this epix watch. The software on the epix is much quicker and the buttons are much more responsive. The only reason I upgraded was for the longer battery life, but the epix charged so quickly that wasn't as much of an issue as I thought. Fantastic watch.

many usful features

I've had the watch for a few years and I am OK happy with it. It does everything I thought it would do when I bought it except I thought it had all maps pre loaded. Instead it has only North america and you can load others as needed. The watch periodiaclly disconnects and needs to be re connected resulting in a long process and re registering.

Love it!

Purchased as a replacement to an Apple Watch. I love the feel along battery life. Still navigating the app and getting used to it as I find it a bit confusing. But overall love it

Like the golf features

The golf features are comprehensive and usually reliable. I had only one issue , which was the screen. Garmin replaced the watch promptly, without any problems.

After having a couple of Apple Watches and enjoying their abilities. Great Triathlon Watch, Great Value

I bought this model when it was first released, wore it daily, and competed in several races per year. Recently I started having a bit of trouble with one of the buttons and Garrmin simply offered a refurbished replacement which I agreed to. The Epix2 is still an incredible device when compared to many of the newer versions. For the money, and features I need, it'd be hard to justify a different model.

When I bought this it was on sale. I felt like I wanted to upgrade my fenix 5 but I didn’t really know why. The features mainly the battery life far out performs the 5 as well as the button responses. I really like the weight of this watch as it feels solid. The default watch is something I really enjoy. Best overall watch

I always love this version of garmin, unfortunately theya re not going to conitnue with this anymore but so far is giving me all the specs that I need specially maps. Something that didn't work for me was the huge display that sometimes feels a alittle big bulky. I considere this item for beginner if you want something to consider before consdiering the new garmin options. Like I mentiones before be aware that this product is discontinued.
