LOVE IT

I bought mine mid September and loving it. Still learning all it can tell me. Also still changing the face. The watchband is nice but I wish there was one that had some elastisity to maintaine the proper tension for its sensors. One slot is loose and the next is tight on my rist.

Great watch with what you want

This warch has the items I want on it and not all the extra stuff I don’t, I had my Apple Watch 8 and while it monitored the items, it felt like a toy, this actually feels and acts like a ruggedized watch that won’t break by looking at it sideways. I have had a little bit of a learning curve but all and all I enjoy the long life battery, the added solar charging the new free face I loaded and tailoring it to meet my needs. The best watch I have ever owned to date.

I have owned a Fenix 5s, Fenix 6 Pro Solar, Fenix 7, and all the Instinct series. The Instinct 2x Tactical is my newest watch, and I am extremely happy with it. The accuracy of the GPS, battery life, flashlight, large display, and lightweight design make it my everyday carry.

Does what it needs to nothing more nothing less

Tactical does what I need it to. I’m ready to push this tool to its limit. Not enough time yet but we’ll see how it handles falls, bumps, water, cold temps and gravel, wood, concrete, metal and recoil as a weapons/firearms training tool.

Good, not great

I was under the impression that thos watch was a smart watch as much as a tactical watch. Meaning, I thought I would be able to utilize the feature as seeing calls and messages more clearly when received. This isn't the case. Pros- this watch is very rugged and the appeal is very nice. I like the waypoint usage and other tail type features. You can utilize this watch significantly as a fitness tracker for sure.

GREAT watch

I'm a watch collector and have own many watches from Tags to Casios. My daily wear was my Casio Range Master. Super tough and dependable. I replaced it with the Instict 2X Solar. The Garmin has more features than the Casio and many additional like the "Find my phone" setting and the led light which is super helpful when I'm without light. Really well made watch

The watch does what is say and a lot more. Using the gps is extremely easy and works very well. Works well with an active live style, if you're running, working out or out on the trail. The solar charging works well, battery life is amazing. The size of the watch is really good, fits my wrist well.

Amazing watch with one flaw.

The watch really is amazing. The ONLY thing I don't love is the green light in a tactical watch?! Red makes more sense for many reasons and is considered the most tactically safe light color. Wrong decision by Garmjn.

I own the Tactix Delta, the Fenix 6x plus and now this. Let me tell you.. the size is perfect, the design is flawless, and the sex appeal of this watch is crazy! It’s so light on your wrist that you don’t know even notice it. Definitely not too big. This watch has all the features you’d want and none you don’t. If you’re on the fence pull the trigger… you won’t be disappointed

This watch has been my daily driver since I received it. It has great features and awesome battery life. It is rugged and durable. I especially like the solar charging, I have actually gained days of charge just by working outdoors.

Great for the average person

This watch is perfect for the average adventurer, outdoorsman, security professionals, and even military members can benefit from this watch. Great watch

Very customizable with tons of watch faces. The solar charging is awesome and it is gas at pulling MGRS grids. The GPS button is in a location that does get accidentally pressed sometimes. Bluetooth range to mobile device could be extended.

Needs phone app to work as expected

This watch is impressive; even as it doesn't update its location unless paired with the phone and app. Maybe a user mistake but I would have expected a GPS watch to do so. Similar with the weather, it's not updated without syncing to the phone app.

This watch has everything you need and the battery life is phenomenal! I used this watch to replace my Apple Watch and have enjoyed every minute of it. The integration with all apps is flawless and truly gives you the best user experience. The price tag is worth it. The watch is made all users of all levels, it is very easy to learn and you don't have to use every function of it to enjoy it
