Love at first sight

I have found that this watch has so many features I can’t use all of them. So easy to see with the large face. All so link with my phone for great response. Excellent watch for the money.

Very happy! I bought the watch to monitor my heart rate during exercise, at 67 one can't be too careful. All the features are great, but I didn't expect to see data from my Edge that I use for cycling. With the Edge I always wore the heart rate monitor across my chest and the unit was turned on for every ride. To my surprise the connect app accessed all the Edge data, heart rate, elevation ... miles rode, weather from every ride back to 2011.

5 month review

I've had to watch five months now and honestly I would purchase it again. the watch. Is comfortable and it is a lot lighter than the casio pathfinders.I have worn for years. i purchase the two x because I want the larger screen to make it easier to see, even then sometimes the watch face can be to full of information and hard to read at a glance. A little bit of everything

I've had this watch for a few weeks now and love it. It's lightweight, and has sooo many features. The flashlight is the most underrated feature in my opinion. I use the flashlight every day. Still on the initial charge and it's saying I still have 23 days left and I've been wearing it for 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend this watch.

Excellent GPS watch, but could use a few refinements

I love my Garmin watch, but it has not been entirely positive. I did have to send my original one back for warranty as the vibrator inside came loose and started buzzing whenever the alarm or alerts went off. They replaced it quickly and I haven't had issues with the new one regarding build quality. When I received my replacement, all of my paid apps didn't transfer because it had a new serial number... bummer. I do find it annoying that the weather display is only functional when actively paire...

Functional and form

The battery life is phenomenal, highly readable watch face, and crisp.

Packed with great features

A great device, so much more than a watch. Getting used to the larger size than I’m used to.

Unintuitive.

Menu structure is unintuitive. Bio data inaccurate. I could go on and on, but I’ve wasted enough time on this watch. Very disappointed.

Great for all training

Currently my daily wear for all my military training, as well as personal training. Daily marathon prep long two hour runs it does great. The solar aspect of it is amazing and battery last long. I would recommend this watch to anyone that is outdoors a lot or any service member that has long training intervals. My other advice would be to buy an extra charger since it only comes with one but its solar too so not a huge deal to only have one.

Everything you need!

Bought this to replace my original Instinct Tactical which I have given to a family member and it still runs fine. This new 2X is incredible from the battery life to the very useable flashlight! I paid for a custom watch face on Connect that has all the data I really need on ONE SCREEN! Highly recommend this watch.

Received the watch on 9/5/24. Used it exclusively and extensively since then upgrading from the first instinct and upgrading from an Apple Watch. Absolutely no complaints battery life was a big sell for me as my series 8 Apple Watch would need to charge daily and the size of the instinct 1 was just to small for me. This watch has gone a few weeks at a time no charge. Would highly recommend it if you have the first instinct and looking to upgrade it.

This watch is Awesome!

This watch does it all and is durable and rugged. Tracks all sorts of activities and health metrics. The battery life way outlasts other brands I've owned and if you are out on an adventure, hiking, camping, etc., it will charge via the sun. Hands down the best watch I've owned so far!

Great, very good apps, very durable

I use it every day and I am very happy with its functions and how I can use it, The battery is amazing, very sobering, the solar recharge function works very well, I can link it with my other Garmin devices and it works perfect, I spend more than 5 months in the mountains and it is the best watch that has worked and helped me in my work, I recommend it a lot if you spend a lot of time in remote places, or places difficult to preserve or get electricity, it is very useful for that

Great Watch

I wear the watch every time I gear up for work. It is comfortable, and large enough for me to see without my glasses. (but not stupid large) The watch has been incredibly rugged, (not so much as a scratch after 6 months of use) and the battery lasts FOREVER. The GPS, and the heart monitor functions are super accurate, and the built in flashlight is very handy when I am rooting around in the back of my rig looking for gear. Stellar Watch

After dealing with other smart watches I've definitely found the best choice. This watch might not have as many options as other big brands, but it performs the necessary tasks much better. Great watch, brand, software, functionality. Solar meh. Battery life is great "IF" you turn off lots of functions and not use certain functions. Lots of items are "On" by default, if you don't need turn them off. Steps will also lower battery life. The solar doesn't do much in my opinion. I might need to call support or don't spend enough time outside. Learning curve is different from Fitbit or other health apps. This was an upgrade from my Instinct 2 tactical. Well worth the money. Love it.

Love it

The screen can be seen so clear in the brightest conditions. The battery life if your outdoors like me most of the time you will never charge it. Fitness tracking is wonderful. It just a tuff looking watch and have no regrets on anything on this model.

First Garmin, and very impressed!

I haven’t owned a smartwatch before and not interested in that portion. I turned messages and such off immediately. I use it for everything else. Worthy investment. Still looking for a shot timer app/functionality to go with it so I can see my splits. I’m Also experimenting with larger font for my old eyes. Haven’t found the right one/mix yet. Highly recommend this watch.
