Easy Readability, and it works!

I previously had a Garmin D2 Air watch, but was not happy with it at all, so much so that when looking for another smart watch, I was steering away from another Garmin. But when I looked at the reviews for this watch, coupled with it being able to solar charge (allowing it to keep a charge the entire day, unlike my previous watch), I decided to give it a try. Pleasantly surprised.

All you would ever need in a "Watch"

I purchased this about a month ago to replace my apple watch. So glad I did. The GPS feature and all of the features are amazing. No more apple watch stopping in the middle of my workout without warning. Looking forward to learning more about everything it has to offere.

Great tracking

Use mainly for hiking. Tracks the path well. Love how it shows the different speeds.

best battery life

pros awesome battery, 2 weeks of work. Excellent protection against accidental wasp impacts on walls and corners. excellent cardiac sensor. Flashlight price Cons: not super convenient button controls. Slow saving of workouts, small number of programs on a black and white screen. I didn’t figure out how to switch the music. Probably the lack of a touch screen. Reading mail and messages is not very convenient. but perhaps this can be configured. I recommend the watch.

Great Item but be sure to adjust the power saving

I bought this for my hike on the Appalachian Trail in March 2024. I wanted something that would tell me the day the time the weather, all the usual stuff that an Apple Watch would do. Flashlight orientation unusual

Watch is ok. Altimeter is useless unless you recalibrate it to a known elevation every 10 minutes, not accurate at all. The watch faces interchangeabllity is great feature. The flashlight is a great feature except it should be placed inline with your arm to show on your hand instead of perpendicular to your arm. Instead of pointing to an area you want to light up you have to reposition your arm to show whats in front of your hand. The compass is good too. Battery life is ok, lasts about 2.5 ...

I bought this watch a few weeks ago to try a different than my previous one. After the initial charge out of the box, it’s still going. It has that rugged feel with endless capabilities. It’s truly a great watch and I can’t wait to try it out during the hunting season.

Great Fitness Watch for an Even Better Price!

I’ve owned this watch for about 2 weeks. It replaced an Apple Watch that unexpectedly died. Garmin instinct 2X solar

This is a really nice watch. Has great features. Love the GPS tracking with dog tracking and track back. This is more than what I expected. Love it. and I don't have to.

I like it ok but?

I’m sure I’m not using all the features on this watch but, it is difficult to navigate. For the price and the features I would not recommend it to a friend looking for a watch of this kind. I also dislike that you would have to add maps at your cost. For a company that got its start in navigation devices you would think that would be free.

Probably the best instinct yet!

I’m a less is more kinda guy. But this is watch makes more so seamless, I keep finding real life use for more of its features on a regular basis. The 2x model is especially welcomed. Feels better on the wrist. Not a dainty as the previous models. From workout modes to navigation, this thing just keeps ticking. I’ve charged it once since I first got it. It’s been 2 weeks. Vast improvement over the original Instinct

The battery life on this model is outstanding. I loved the original Instinct, but this "new & improved" version actually is way better. Very happy with this watch.

Superb watch.

Had the watch for about a month. Definitely meeting expectations, great for runs and hikes. Love the additional health/heart apps. Solar array keeping it charged.

Great battery life

I purchased this model because I wanted a watch which could track workouts and trips longer than 12 hours. This one fits the bill. With solar recharging it can go for days. Good job!

Major upgrade over current fitness watches

The watch out performs others I've had, The face is lager, easy to read and get around. It's not heavy at all and sits on my wrist with very little movement. This allows for excellent HR monitoring. The HR locks on right away during activity and that is a big bonus over the competition. I like the fitness tracking the best on this, it's easy to compare day to day. The solar aspect is nice making it run without charging.
