It is a wonderful watch that has surpassed my expectations! Looks great, works amazing with or with out a phone, crazy good battery life.

Great watch with amazing battery life

I picked up this watch after hearing it could last a month on battery alone. I love having a smart watch, but often go to places where I cant charge the watch for a week, and this alone eliminates most smart watches. The Instinct 2 solar works amazingly and lasts way longer then I need!

Great watch, long battery life

Even in the rainforest of southeast Alaska the battery lasts 2-4 weeks on a charge. That is amazing for a smart watch! And I'm using most, if not all, of the functionality that the watch offers on a daily basis. So far it's durable and always reliable. Has held up very well hiking through thick, wet brush, being submerged in the ocean, and covered in fish mucus!

Garmin Instinct Tactical watches

This is a rugged watch!!!! I actually have the original Instinct 2 and wear it every day and had zero issues. I use it mostly for tracking my workouts and steps. I gave my 3 sons the exact same watch so we are in constant step competition. I have not had any issue with the battery life I use the cable to charge during my shower time and the battery has never run down to zero. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone who is active and wants to track their fitness.

Great watch for active and outdoors people

Honestly, its a great watch without too many faults. I don't spend a tremendous amount of time outdoors like active duty military would or someone who hikes, bikes, backpacks, or runs regularly. The solar function works pretty well at keeping the watch charged assuming you do the things listed above. Fantastic watch

This watch does so much and the battery lasts an insane amount of time. I wanted the Fenix 7 but I couldn't handle the wait so I settled and man I'm glad I did

The Instinct 2 is less bulky, that was my first impression, and it's edges seem more refined than it's predecessor. So it looks and feels a little more classy but I'm feeling confident it has retained it's strength and resistance to the elements. The battery level and solar charging have improved, at least so far as I can tell and that was a selling point for me. Perfect EDC Watch

I received this as a gift from my wife and I absolutely love it. I previously had an apple watch and I was looking for something that was tougher, had more data to share per activity, and also the leading factor which is a longer battery life. With this watch I can now properly track my sleep, all my outdoor and indoor activities and am safer along the way too. Amazing Watch!!

This watch is an amazing tool bag to have at my disposal. I say tool, because that is exactly what it is. A tool bag on your wrist. The Compass, Altimeter, and barometer are great. However my favorite fxn’s are the sleep mode to monitor sleep and the body battery. These are my favorite features. Has helped my to further understand my bodies needs. I HIGHLY recommend this watch.

Hate To Take It Off My Wrist

This is really the perfect smart watch. It keeps track of my running, shows how My fitness level is progressing, is hooked to your telephone so you won’t miss a call and it is tough. Additionally, the battery lasts a long time. I went on a week long trip and with the Solar charging was only down one day of battery when I came home. The alarm also woke me up every morning. Compared to the rest of the Garmin line it is sanely sized. It is really everything you need.

Pragmatic, yet with lots of functionality.

I bought it two weeks after it became available. I watched a couple of reviews and fell in love with it then and there. And now that it sits on my wrist, lighter than even a basic rugged watch, I am the happiest I've been, at least regarding my tech purchases. This thing is great. I do strength training often, and this watch almost always knows what exercise I'm doing, as long as it's a one-handed exercise. Almost perfect

I’ve had the watch for about a month now with daily use. It’s awesome you can be a very involved user with activities and goals for almost anything you do. Or as minimal as you would like. Great Watch

This was my first Smartwatch purchase. Still getting used to it and it has a ton of features. I am concerned about the plastic face holding up over time and I wish it had color. However, I would not be willing to give up battery life for that feature.
