Mostly good

My first "smart" watch and it is mostly good. Battery life seems reasonable at 10 days for the first charge. A good range of features that work for me. However, the BMI is horrible for individual fitness, good measure for large groups and worthless for an individual measure of fitness. Please allow a manual entry of % body fat, I have a scale I can get that from.

Great! Easier to use than I thought it would be!

Works great tracking my paddling. It helps me with my training and learning how the Kayak moves the best.

Nice

Nice watch! To have info like this on your wrist without having to pull your phone out all the time is nice. The only thing I can find wrong is the solar charging is really slow! Slower than any other solar charging watch I’ve owned! My Casio stayed fully charged the whole two years I wore it! Other wise very nice!

I never take it off

It's rugged and durable, and stands up to me beating it daily. I wear it in the gym to track my heart rate, on my bike to track distance and intensity of rides, and while I work out in the yard. It even works great to keep my strokes and track distance to the hole while I play golf with it's golf app. The battery lasts forever with it's e-ink display, which I love because I keep it on my wrist as often as possible. Do Not know how to use.

I do not know how to use. Sometimes it shows the time but often switches to other things. Time is in 24 hour clock but want 12 hour clock. Purchased to track biking and heartrate but do not know how to acquire those features and how to use. The included instructions are not useful.

Fantastic watch

I hesitated at first but I am glad I finally made the move , this is an amazing watch with so many smart features besides the solar charging capabilities and the regular battery long life once you charge it . It might not have the touch screen feature like so many reviews complaint about , but to me is the perfect watch for either office , casual or the outdoor life which is the main reason I got it I can recommend it enough You will not be disappointed go for it

Great flexible smart watch

Got this watch to replace a Forerunner 45 as my every day watch. The battery lasts at least 8 days so far even with eight GPS tracking activities each week. The Forerunner would last through 2 activities before needing recharging. Comfortable, lots of functionality and easy connection to my phone for tracking activities. So far it has far exceeded my expectations.

My favorite watch

Very versatile and unobtrusive. Very light weight and comfortable. Extremely durable and waterproof. I love the stealth mode.

Exactly what I needed!

This is my first Garmin device and I absolutely love it! It's super easy to navigate and has all of the functions I was looking for. I've had it for a month and it's holding up very well. I'm also impressed with what the Garmin Connect app has to offer.

Stopped consistently working

After 2 years the watch stopped tracking efficiently and will not connect with the app.

Great platform, software lacking

I love my Instinct 2. I purchased the solar option, however I don't think it adds much. Also, the hardware is great, software seems to be lacking. Things I enjoy: Sleep tracking and body battery appear to match how I'm feeling, activity tracking is pretty cool, accurate gps, return to start, Backcountry skiing activity Things I think can be implemented better: Apple iWatch can detect you started an activity and ask if you want to track that activity, would be nice Garmin. Nice watch

So far has been a great watch. Love the way that I can customize the screens. Along with what data is collected and shown.

connectivity

i am so sick of the Garmin losing connectivity. i have to delete my garmin from the app and go through the restart phase 2-3 times a week to keep it synced. getting old real fast

Great Purchase!!!

I've always stayed away from smartwatches because of the durability and gigantic size, but this one is solid and fits my wrist well! I love the simplicity of this watch and all the features that it includes. This has already helped me, in conjunction with the Garmin Connect app, with my workouts and aerobic training/maintenance. The GPS features and "apps" give me peace of mind for in-the-field use, and I look forward to using this during hunting season as well.

Amazing Product

I bought this to start prepping for my next marathon. I love the battery life!!!!!! I enjoy the ability to read things in different metrics. I have had this product going on for about a month now and I am more than satisfied with it! I am still learning all the bells and whistles but excited to see the progress of my training and overall day to day!

Like it enough to buy a share of stock

Really like the ability to track activities and automatically load to Strava. The Garmin activity app works well as well and I'd use it if I wasn't already deep in the Strava world. Might switch when my subscription is up. I've never used a "smart" watch before, heck hardly even a watch, but am really liking this one and wear it everyday. Going on 10 months so far. There is a sleep score given if you wear it over night I sort of like.. it has prompted to drink even less then I did, a couple bee...

Buttons suck

No consistency on when what button does what I spent five minutes trying to set a dam alarm nothing like Apple man intuitive

Recieved mine as a father's day gift....truly amazing, dynamic, loaded with features, and flexibility. The solar charging is definitely a plus. I work outdoors, hadn't had to plug it up and still at 92%!

Functional

I bought this watch about 3 weeks ago and use it continuously. I purchased this watch for a variety of reasons and so far it was met my expectations. I am still getting used to it and I am wanting to learn more of the functions. Looking forward to continued use and learning how it can continue to track my active life.

Decent watch

Watch is good and functions as advertised. The screen seems a little weak as I have already scratched it slightly (I am usually really rough on my things). The solar charging isn’t spectacular as I have only seen it do any real charging once since I’ve owned it (roughly 3-5 months) and it only increased by one day of battery life.
