The Garmin is exactly what I was looking for. Compact and perfect on the go. I use it on the range to get accurate distance, ball spin, and ball speed. Very easy set up and I loved that it connects to the Garmin Golf app. The Garmin is perfect for all levels of golfers. I highly recommend.

Amazing piece of equipment for the price!

I Got this to have the ability to practice at home more, and hope to get the r50 asap! I love this thing! Home tee hero is so awesome!!!! Only downside I would say is that chipping can be a little bit off it seems that 20-30 yard range id where it struggles a little. Other than that, thing is amazing!

Its a cool product, and it is helpful out on the range.

Great product

Great product easy to set up and great for the range to dial in your distances before hitting the course. Product worked great and gave similar numbers to the trackman system. Easy storage to pack away and bring to your next tee box or driving range. Great for both beginners or guys who want to know exactly where the ball is going. Overall worth every dollar.

It worked good one day when in range mode I set up what stats I wanted to see now it won’t connect or connects and goes into standby and won’t work

Experience with GSPro

This launch monitor works great for my budget garage sim setup. I use it with GSPro. I did get frustrated with it when connecting via Bluetooth to my PC. It seemed very finicky but later discovered it wasnt the monitor itself. When connecting to PC it will seem to drop connection but what was really happening is it was waiting for the "handshake" with the GSPro software. Not the R10s fault. So i found the order of operations is to turn on the R10 first, then launch GSPro. Since then, no issues a...

Getting closer, I hope.

I bought this for an indoor simulator and have had issues with it dropping Bluetooth at certain times of the day. I have windows in my shop and it worked perfectly when it was dark outside so I blocked my windows during the day and that didn’t help. I have done my own troubleshooting and I am getting closer.

Great product but could use improvements

Love all of the data and accuracy of the r10, I bought it bc I wanted to track more than just carry distance and the value with the r10 is amazing. I use mine at an outdoor range. Problems I’ve had: it misses balls a lot more than my Voice Caddie SC200, I would say maybe 10-20% of my shots don’t get read by the r10 whereas my SC200 misses maybe 2% of shots I hit. Not for me

I really like it and it works exceptionally well for someone who is really looking to get better and take the sport of golf seriously but I know realize that it is not for me and I hardly use it and I hate to see it sit around and collect dust in the garage

Not impressed.

Having trouble picking up the ball, hit 3 shots when it says waiting to hit the shot and it might pick up one, very frustrating.

Easy to setup and start using

Out of the box it is very easy to setup and get started. Follow the recommended distances for setup and you're off and hitting balls. Recommend getting a leveling stand for the R10 as this makes setup a breeze. Have not tried the R10 at the range yet, only used it hitting into practice net in the backyard. Occasionally the R10 loses connectivity and needs to re-sync to the smartphone. This is the only reason to 4 stars and not 5.

All around great little device.

I use it every Tuesday and Thursday during the winter months with my friends. For the last two years. We have a great time being competitive, and keeping our swing grooved. When paired with Awesome golf it’s a fantastic simulator. I only wished that the Garmin app Home Tee Hero would update to a better version, like what’s on the Garmin R 50

I love the size and the features of the R10. It easily connected to the other apps and worked flawlessly on the range in real time

Worked till it didnt

From day one out of the box it only worked when the unit wanted too. Legit once the 1 year warranty was up it stopped working. When powered on it just stays solid red. I’ve reset it multiple times. Deleted it from my phone and reset it up. Still does not work. I’d recommend you to skip this unit as an option and invest in something better

Always part of the Garmin Golf Family

The R10 was my last add on the Garmin family, watch, club sensors, Approach R80 and now the R10. The R10 just takes the home sim to the next level without having to spend thousands on another brand.

I love the R10

Easy to use, with heaps of features. This is encouraging me to play more golf, increasing my confidence and I save money for not going to the range. Hopefully they make more courses but there are 6 to play with. Great device!

The Launch Monitor That Could

I like the easy setup and portability of the launch monitor. I needed one that could be used outdoors at a reasonable price range and this one seemed to fit that well. It doesn't need special golf balls, the battery lasts super long and the statistics seems reasonable accurate.

One Change Would Push The R10 Past The Big Boys!

This offers ease of set-up and great data. Pairing it with a phone is good, a tablet is better. It's a wonderful unit for the price. But one enhancement in the software would elevate this unit beyond all others ... including Trackman. When used at an average driving range, the data becomes unreliable because of the quality of the range balls. There needs to be an adjustment applied of 10, 15, or 20% depending on whether you are using new range balls, newer and well used, and well used. My number...
