What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on this tree staking kit. About half find it convenient and adequate for small, newly planted trees, appreciating the all-in-one simplicity. However, many criticize the plastic stakes as brittle and prone to breaking, especially under wind pressure or in hard soil. The included twine is frequently described as cheap and prone to unraveling, making secure fastening difficult. Reviewers note the kit fails for trees over six feet tall or in high-wind environments, with several users forced to replace components with heavier-duty alternatives. Despite these drawbacks, some report success with modifications or temporary support in calm conditions.

could be better, not enough string
Would Not Recommend21’ isnt enough string to set 3 stakes at 3-4’ up a tree’s trunk. I had to buy additional string to finish the job. String is required to tie the protective rubber to the string one one end, which takes up some of the 21’ The stakes are OK, easy to drive in and secure the other end of the string to if you know how to tie a secure knot using minimal amounts of string. The string wasnt easy to push through the protective rubber due to tje rubber being sticky inside with the catchy, plasticy s...
Good product for job
Would RecommendThis kit is just I needed to hold a palm in place after uprighting it from the damage caused by the hurricane.
Great kit
Would RecommendGreat kit to stand up brand new trees. Everything included and great price. Only problem is the rope is hard to pass through the rubber hose. Quick tip, tie a knot at the end to ease it through the tube.
Worked Great
Would RecommendI had 4 small trees that needed staking and this kit worked perfectly for me. Easy to use.
Trip wire suspects
Would RecommendI bought this specifically for the stakes. Nasty neighbors allow their pets to do their biz in my yard at night. Used in conjunction with motion activated water sprinklers, I run a maze of fishing line loosely around the stakes. The sensors are targeted toward the inner part of my yard so when it is tripped and the water starts spraying, the fishing line quickly gets tangled around running feet. Doesn’t prevent the perps but sure is funny to watch.
Suitable for shrubs
Would Not RecommendIf you have to anchor a tree more than 3-4 feet this kit is not for you. I tried to go cheap but ended up buying metal tree anchors for my 7-9’ pines blown sideways by Florence. The small stakes pulled right out as soon as any pressure was put on them.
Plastic Tree Stakes
Would RecommendI needed help with my newly planted trees as the wind has been quite strong. This product was extremely helpful for the price. Lowe's to the rescue again. Thank you!

Repeat purchase
Would RecommendThis is the third time buying this product as it always works and is a great value. Whenever I am planting new things that need support, this is the product I always grab.
May be ok for a big tree but does not work for a small tree. Also, the ties need to be longer. The plastic spikes need to be longer as well. Did not like overall product.
