Reliable, easy to use, efficient

It's quiet running, the venting of the drum to keep the stagnate moisture in it, the drain on the front for the pump to help keep it cleaned out as well.

In a nutshell—loudest machine I’ve ever heard, worst customer service at GE, and now after less than three years the washing machine is broken. $1100 to repair. I will never buy another GE appliance

Have had the motherboard go out twice.

Motherboard went out twice in less than 2 years. Did a warranty claim the first time but no one ever came.

Terrible - I’m done with GE

This washer lasted a whopping 2.5 years before the locking mechanism burned out the motherboard. Just a waste of money and I’m so done with GE on everything. $750 to fix. Now I need to buy an LG - just like we replaced our GE refrigerator.

Less than 3 years old. Door switch already went out once about 5 months ago. It was replaced and working fine. Getting same door error on display screen now. Both times there were multiple error codes when in diagnostics. After a lot of time spent researching again. It could be the door switch again, control board or other electronics, but I couldn’t find a definitive answer. WORST WASHER EVER

BEWARE!! Bought this thinking it was a good washer. VERY BAD MISTAKE. TERRIBLE! Does not spin properly. Makes a HUGE amount of noise. Doesn’t notify when washer is done. Seems to have a prediliction for breaking down. VERY noisy. Never again will I buy this brand!! Now have to get a new washer, only 1 year after purchase! Also, the installer was quite rude. Beware!

Quality machine

Quiet and efficient

Inverter Board and motor

Our motor burnt out due to failed communication between the inverter board and motor causing it to overheat. The repair is going to cost us over $700! We purchased this washer and dryer set in November 2023- 2.5 years ago!!! I loved the washer but with a repair cost like this we won't be buying GE washers again.

Not made to last

We purchased this Front Load washer 18 months ago. We like the way it washes clothes and uses less water, but we have had to replace the electronics board once and now the spin will not work which typically means drain motor needs replaced or the new board is going again. Our last GE front load lasted 12 years. We either received a lemon or they do not make them like they use too.
