I bought StayBright icicle lights about 7 years ago. Those looked good and I was able to repair unlit areas with the LED Keeper tool. This year I had a couple of strands that were no longer repairable, so I purchased new ones. The new ones flicker because they no longer have a rectifier device on the strand. They are also a slightly different color than the old ones. I returned them.

Most sets failed last year after 20 days of use

I bought 8 sets of these lights last year. Within a couple of weeks, 2 sets were very dim. Then another set failed and then another. This year, I am putting my 10 year old GE lights back up which are white and blue. But I really wanted the multicolor icicle lights. Terrible product and I can't believe they are still selling these.

Short lights

These icicle lights only hang down 5-6 inches at best and the others only have 3 lights and hang 3 inches. The standard up to this year would have lights hanging down 6-12 inches. They look cheap and still cost $30 a string which seems to be about a 50% increase from last year.

Have none of 24 sets left completely working after buying replacement sets for last two years. Just plugged a new strand in out of the box from last year (bought extras) and the middle was out before I even got back with my ladder from around the corner. They were laying on the grass, oh my! What a waste of money.

All 3 stands with multiple sections out

We bought 3 strands last year. Mild weather in Charlotte NC. 2 of the strands had sections out last year before they were taken down (30 days) and this year I plugged them back in and all 3 have sections out. I've replaced the fuses, it's not that. Not given spares to replace them. Returning for warranty.

Terrible quality

I bought 5 sets of these lights last year and had them up outside for approximately 28 days. 1 set list a section of lights lay year while up, and this year when I went to put them up only 1 set would completely light up. What a joke for quality.
