Lights Defective

i bought these lights a few weeks ago. The lights worked for the first two weeks. After getting some rain and colder weather, the lights and sockets filled with water and ice causing sections of strands to go out. If I scrape the ice out of each socket and reinstall the bulbs, it works for a day or two before it has to be done again. The product seems to be defective and should not be rated for outdoor use.

Great for 2 weeks!

Loved these when they first went up 2 weeks ago but half of every string has gone out, if I wanted to deal with a string going out I would I’d just bought the cheap “old school” bulbs were if one went out they’d all go out. Of course I didn’t keep the box since they came in a tanged mess so I can return other wise these would be going back.

Meh

I give it 4 because LED's just don't look as good as incandescents and the icicle strings could be a little longer whereas the ther LED icicle sets the icicles tend to be too long.

Burned out in a week

After 1 week of use 5 out of 9 strand burned up several bulbs and two sections completely went out. I switched to LED thinking they would last longer and don’t get as hot as incandescent but I was sadly mistaken. Not worth the purchase

Really Bright and Beautiful

Bought these for a 90' long run on a public monument. They provide huge amount of reflected light.

Don't buy

In one week they stop working

Only made it 3 weeks

Purchased 3 boxes brand new, had them up for less than 3 weeks and half of the lights are out now. There hasn't been much rain, no snow. Are there any tips to figuring out which bulbs need to be replaced in order to get the full strand lit?

Easy Peasy

Went together perfectly attaching several strands to outline our roof installed with a staple gun. They look amazing up there.

stroboscopic flickering

Awful flickering. I got 2 strings of these and another 3 strings of non icicle also GE lights and they all exhibit the same behavior. Instant headache to look at. Seems like the LEDs are driven really cheaply and they look terrible.
