Works great and keeps the room nice and cool. The only problem is the filter. The first time I took it out to clean it I notice it was broken in the corners and now I cannot get the filter to go back in. So to I am going to have to spend more money to get a new one before I can run it again and it is already hitting 90 degrees here in South Georgia, hope it comes quick.

Sounds like a Jet Engine

I installed the unit for the first time a few days after the purchase and it immediately started to sound like a jet engine with a rattling sound. Very disappointed that it immediately had problems.

Not for Apartments

Very disappointed. You basically have to assemble the entire air conditioner. You need a drill, level, Phillips head screwdriver, pencil, tape measure, level and scissors or knife. I should have stopped right there. You have to drill and screw the unit into the window and frames and if you live in an apartment, I don't believe the landlord would approve of this. Flimsy plastic everything and then have to take it out in the winter. Why couldn't they just make an air conditioner that comes put to...
