They claim it is super quiet, but it is not; you can hear it very well, definitely not 39db Refilling rinse aid is a real pain. This component is worse than my 20-year-old GE Profile I had before, where you could clearly see how much you are adding.

Best dishwasher-GE Profile

This holds more dishes than any other dishwasher I’ve ever owned. You don’t even know that it’s running because there’s only a very small amount of noise. And the dishes and even dried on coffee on cups comes off the first time. No more scrubbing that ring around the cup anymore. I highly recommend the GE profile dishwasher.

Cycles are longer than I anticipated.

Product is fine. I wish that I could adjust the top rack to accommodate bigger utensils like ladle, big spoons and big forks.

I researched to select best possible dishwasher, and the reviews on GE profile are wrong - the dishwasher installation was a disaster, does not drain well, it’s noisy, I’ve had to replace door hinge and top fake chrome piece has broken 3 times - I’m done repairing - I’m ready to trash it and buy competitor brand

Great unit ! Replaced our old GE unit with this one after 17 years and the quality is stellar, it's much quieter and cleans much better. Highly recommend - comparable to a higher end brand like Bosch without the high price or difficulty finding parts if the need arises.

Great Features

We have had our dishwasher for several weeks and have nothing to complain about. It is super quiet, it get dishes dry and it gets the dishes clean. We love having the wifi feature that allows us to check and see when the dishes are done or how long they have to finish.

I really like my new dishwasher for the following reasons: *. Extremely quiet, I have to put my ear against the door to tell this washing. *. Large capacity, especially the user friendly design for Asian deep and large bowls. * Third rack for chopsticks. One consideration for improvement: the bottle washing jets on the second rack does not fit for most of water bottles.

New House, New Appliances!

We purchased a complete set of GE appliances and got a great deal. This was a new construction home that we are just moving into. Haven't run the dishwasher yet, but very impressed with the refrigerator and double oven. Will have to wait another week or so to get the gas stove installed.

Great but....

I had a similar GE Cafe model and loved it. We moved to a new home and purchased what I thought was a similar Profile model. I loved the bottle jets in the Cafe model and this one had them as well. The Profile model does not have the stand-off that flips up so you can lean the wine glass stems against it while using the bottle jets. I broke two wine glasses using the bottle jets with nothing to support them. I do like this dishwasher; it cleans very well and is very quiet. If I had known ...

clean and quiet

We love this dishwasher. we were told to just scrape the dishes and not rinse them. That is what we have been doing and using a normal wash with the bottle jets.Everything comes out sparkling clean. It is also very quiet!

Overall opinion of my new GE Profile DW

My new GE Profile dishwasher was just installed today so I haven't used it yet. I purchased another dishwasher and it was installed earlier this month but after installation found out it had a manufacturing defect. I expect much better results from the GE Profile. I have used only GE products since 1976. Capacity, cycles offered, energy efficiency, installation and assumed the noise level will be great.
