Great Alternative to the More Expensive Brands

I'd wanted smart lighting for years ever since Hue came out. I have no regrets taking the plunge with Cync by GE. Most of my home is illuminated with Cync bulbs, and I have 2 on/off switches, a dimmer, and two plugs. Mine are "Cynced" up to Google Assistant. Occasionally, there are some hiccups where a light will be slow to respond or won't be connected, but I figure that it's just an issue where Cync and the Google Assistant aren't seeing eye-to-eye. I like the quality of the product. But, I was only able to get one bulb to work. When trying to sync the product to the smartphone, the sync is hit or miss with these kinds of products.

Can’t wait to buy more

I loved this light, I got 5 of them and they are so much better than our normal led lights. Changing all the colors with my google home is fun. My daughter loves changing colors based on the weather colors.

Makes it way harder than it needs to be.

This is a problem with the app designers on the phone. There are several opportunities missed in the phone app.  If you buy simple LED flood lights for the holidays the basic 16 colors are simple clicks, push buttons.  This has a wheel inside a wheel.  While this is very detailed and can hit a lot of colors, it is difficult to use and going between devices (light bulbs in my case) is not as easy as it should be.  For Christmas I just wanted the simple one Red and one Green porch light, really h...

Almost as good as those other guys!

An excellent alternative to the extremely expensive Philips Hue bulbs. The one complaint I have is that I wish the non-white light range was much brighter - the colours are very dim - and that they could be a bit more saturated. The blue, green, and red colours are very very good, nice and deep, but again, I wish they were brighter. They respond well. Worked great once…

It worked great once and after that we tried to change the color and scene but the Bluetooth no longer would m connect so we’re stuck with a purple light

Who's Bright Idea was this?

Lots of colors. Easy to change using the app. If you use it outdoors (ex: porch light), ensure that your WiFi signal is strong enough otherwise it may not be able to be set up. Once WiFi is strong enough, then product works well. This is not a flaw w/ the product, but could be interpreted unfairly as such. What solved the problem for me was getting a WiFi booster (for this and to benefit others in the home).

I love all the color options

Saw these were on sale and wanted to give them a try, Im happy I did. Setup was easy through the app, which is pretty cool in and of itself. It lets me schedule what color settings i want as my day progresses and even lets setup my room to holiday schemes or whatever I want easily. Added bonus my kids love getting to play with changing these bulds through all the different colors, which look great they are bright and vibrant! I enjoy the flexibility. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coolest light ever! Love that you can change colors and brightness. Only negative was it would not work in my basement as the WiFi router was too far. So I moved to my home office and it helped set a GREAT mood! Love this bulb!!!

SMART and fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cync app is seamless. I love how you can customize the light to the exact shade you are interested in. My favorite color is the purplish blue, smokey hue that sets the mood for Halloween! We also favorited a green that is awesome for dancing! I also love that the bulb is well constructed and SMART!
